    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out or carry in a reactor pressure vessel without providing a temporary opening on the roof of a reactor building, or without installing a large-scale crane in the outdoors of the reactor building.
      SOLUTION: This reactor pressure vessel carrying-out method has processes of: providing a temporary opening 6 on the side wall on a fuel operation floor of the reactor building 18; and carrying out the reactor pressure vessel 1 through the temporary opening 6. The method also has a process of installing a jack bridge 7 in the outdoors of the reactor building, and a lowering process of lowering the reactor pressure vessel 1 carried out from the temporary opening 6 onto the ground in the laid-down state by the jack bridge 7. The method also has processes of: hoisting the reactor pressure vessel 1 in an apparatus temporary placing pool 11 inside the reactor building 18 in the inclined or laid-down state onto the fuel operation floor before carrying out the reactor pressure vessel 1 through the temporary opening 6; and conveying the reactor pressure vessel 1 lowered onto the ground by the jack bridge 7 in the laid-down state as it is to a storage warehouse near the reactor building 18.
