摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent an effective area in a strip member such as, for example, a flat mask for a color CRT, from, e.g. being scratched or stuck with dust, by suporting the strip member at both side edges thereof with the use of support rollers which are adjustably spaced with respect to each other. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator disposed in a continuous process line for strip members comprises a plurality of support roller devices 23 incorported in the upper part of a frame 21 and a plurality of support rollers incorporated in a movable frame 24 which is arranged in the lower part of the frame 21 movably in the vertical direction. Each support roller device 23, 25 is provided therein with screw shafts 43, 44, in parallel with each other, which are respectively formed with threaded parts 42 that are directed in the opposite directins with respect to each other. Further each support roller device 23, 25 includes stepped support rollers 55, 56 which are rotatably carried, respectively by a bracket 48 threadedly engaged with the screw shaft 48 and a bracket 50 fitted onto the screw shaft 48 through a bushing. With this arangement, the strip members are carried at both side edges by support rollers 55, 55, 56, 56 which are adjusted in the spaces therebetween by the threaded shaft 43 which are rotated by a handle 47.
