摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the cost in welding by providing a driving device of a welding torch rotatable freely with the tip as a fixed point and a work stand and also by arranging a terminal detector changing a welding direction with the front wall and angled part. CONSTITUTION:A plane plate 1 is placed on a work stand 3 and the stand 3 is made movable freely in X direction with the 1st driving device 4. A welding device 6 is fitted freely movably to a beam 6 provided in the direction Y intersecting at right angles with the direction X, and is moved with 2nd driving device 7. A detector 9 detects a welding place for a front wall 2A and a torch 8 is ignited and performs a fillet weld. The operation of a terminal detector 11 and the actually related operations of the driving devices 4, 7 and torch 8 are taken place according to the set program and an automatic welding is enabled without any teaching work. Consequently the input data into a controller are lessened and the cost is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable automatic welding of a thin plate by providing the first driving device that moves a work in the X-direction and the second driving device that relatively moves a welding torch in the Y-direction to the work and installing a welding position detector that moves with the welding torch, and a terminal detector that detects the corner and front wall of the object to be welded. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a thin plate 2 has a front wall 2A, a work stand 3 is shifted in the X-direction by the first driving device, and fillet welding is performed while detecting the welding position by a detector 9. When a front wall detecting section 11B of a terminal detector 11 detects the front wall 2A, the terminal detector 11 is pulled up obliquely backward, and welding is performed by shifting the work stand 3 by a distance S from the tip of the torch to the detecting section 11B. Then, the welding equipment 6 is moved in the Y- direction while detecting the welding position of the front wall 2A by a detector 10. The torch 8 is then rotated and welding is continued.
