      SOLUTION: A plug having at least one connecting cord of which one end the plug is connected is coupled to any of a plurality of adaptors of a wiring board. At least two memory function sections which can write and read information in non-contact are arranged respectively at the connecting cord side and the adaptor side, and a hand-carry type probe section having an antenna and a display which makes access to two memory function sections and performs writing and reading detection of information in non-contact and an information processing section which processes the information detected by the probe section and displays the processed result are installed. By making the two memory function sections store respectively a prescribed ID information and an address information, management information corresponding to the coupled state of any of the plurality of adaptors and the plug of the connecting cord can be obtained from the information processing section as a result of the processing.

A test signal sending part 5 selects the non-busy subscriber's line out of a large number of subscriber's lines sequentially by the connection code, and generates the test signal of the audible frequency band area, and inputs it to a line test trunk on one side of the exchange in current use and the exchange in non-current use, and a test signal reception part 4 receives the test signal from the line trunk on the other side, and discriminates the normal/defective condition of the connecting state of each line by using a decision level decided by the mean value of the reception level and a prescribed allowance level.
