    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-liquid extraction method for sample with which liquid-liquid extraction prompt and improved in reproducibility is implemented and which is compact and suitable for on-site measurement or the like, and a liquid-liquid extraction apparatus for sample.SOLUTION: According to a liquid-liquid extraction method for sample, a liquid sample is discharged while being made into minute droplets by a minute droplet discharge device, and dripped into an extraction solvent which does not have compatibility with the liquid sample and through an interface with the extraction solvent formed from the sample made into minute droplets, contents contained in the liquid sample are shifted into the extraction solvent. Furthermore, a liquid-liquid extraction apparatus for sample comprises a sample feeding tube which supplies the liquid sample, the minute droplet discharge device with which the liquid sample is discharged while being made into minute droplets, and a solvent holding container which holds the predetermined amount of the extraction solvent that does not have compatibility with the liquid sample. The sample made into minute droplets by the minute droplet discharge device are dripped into the extraction solvent held by the solvent holding container, and moved in the solvent for a predetermined time.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which a diaphragm and a part encapsulating the air absorb the pressure fluctuation of an ink in an ink tube incident to the movement of a head by forming the outer case of an ink tank out of a soft material, partitioning the inside by a diaphragm made of a softer material, and encapsulating the air in one partitioned part. SOLUTION: An ink tank 10a is encased in an ink case 1 and coupled, at the ink supply port 15 thereof, with an ink tube 2. The outer case 11 is internally partitioned into upper and lower parts by a laminate film of nylon and polyethylene wherein the upper part is encapsulated with the air of atmospheric pressure to form an air chamber 13 while the lower part is filled with an ink 14 and provided with an ink supply port 15. The diaphragm 12 is remarkably softer than the outer case 11 and the nylon side serves as the air chamber 13 thus ensuring mechanical strength. Polyethylene excellent in ink resistance is employed on the side touching the ink 14.
