    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax the limit to the difference between the coefficients of linear expansion of a substrate and a vibration plate by bonding a cavity plate and a vibration plate at temp. in the vicinity of the softening point of low m.p. glass. SOLUTION: A substrate 1 and a vibration plate 8 are bonded by using a low m.p. glass layer 12 being a bonding layer. Since the heating temp. of both of them is set to a range lower than the softening point of low m.p. glass by 50 deg.C or lower to temp. higher than that by 50 deg.C or higher, it becomes 250-450 deg.C. Since the substrate 1 and the vibration plate 8 are bonded at the temp. in the vicinity of the softening point, the flowability of glass is low and, by setting pressure force to 0.05-5kg/cm and a holding time to 10-60min, the deformation or flow of the low m.p. glass layer 2 into a passage is not generated. However, the slight uneveness of the surface of the cavity plate, that is, the substrate 1 and the vibration plate 8 can correspond to the plastic deformation of the glass layer.

    • PURPOSE: To easily realize the miniaturization of a recording head and easily multiply the nozzles of the recording head by a method wherein a nozzle plate, the thickness of which is at least specified times as much as the diameter as an ink nozzle, and a pressurizing and feeding member are made into an integral body by bonding or the like. CONSTITUTION: On a nozzle plate 20 made of a glass plate, ink nozzles 21 are formed through a photo-etching process at positions, which corresponding to the ink flow paths 12 of ink pressurizing and feeding members 100 and, in addition, positioning recesses 22 are formed at positions, to each of which the ink pressurizing and feeding member 100 is bonded. By bonding the ink pressurizing and feeding members 100 to the nozzle plate 20 through activation energy ray-cured material film 30, a recording head is formed. Since the recording head is formed by making the nozzle plate, the thickness of which is two times or more as much as the diameter of ink nozzle, and the ink pressurizing and feeding member into an integral body by bonding and joining, the ink nozzle, the crosssectional shape of which is a circle, can be formed and the length of the ink flow path can be made as short a necessary and the path running from an ink pressurizing chamber to the ink nozzle can be made straight.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the entrainment or stagnation of a bubble to improve a recording quality by a construction wherein in a prespace to which ink reservoirs are connected and ink is led from the external, a flow cross sectional area and a flow direction between an inlet and an outlet are gradually changed. CONSTITUTION:Ink supply paths 6 and jet flow paths 3 are formed in a cavity plate 14 so as to connect to ink reservoirs 7, ink pressurizing chambers 5, and ink jetting nozzles 2. On each surface of the cavity plate 14, a vibration plate 9 is bonded at one surface thereof. A piezoelectric element 10 is fixed on the other surface of the vibration plate 9 opposedly to the ink pressurizing chamber 5. Furthermore, a prespace 16 is connected to the ink reservoirs 7, and ink is led into the prespace from the external. In this structure, the prespace 16 is branched at an inlet part of a hole 13 in a supply jig 12 and connected to the respective ink reservoirs 7, whereby the cross sectional area thereof is gradually changed. In addition, in the branched part of the prespace 16, a projection part provided in the cavity plate 14 is disposed.
