      SOLUTION: This terminal block 10 for the watt-hour meter, fixed on a wall surface and provided on a bottom part with a plurality of wire insertion parts 14 for inserting wires on the power source side or on the load side, is equipped with one or more fixing parts 15 provided protrusively to a part of an opposite surface of the terminal block 10 for the watt-hour meter facing to an instrument mounting surface 20, for fixing the terminal block 10 for the watt-hour meter in contact with the instrument mounting surface 20, and is constituted so that a domain other than the fixing parts 15 on the opposite surface of the terminal block 10 for the watt-hour meter is separated as long as a prescribed distance from the instrument mounting surface 20.

      SOLUTION: The watthour meter is provided with internal components 5 that include electronic circuits and an indicator, a terminal block 3 which is integrally formed with an internal component cover 4, which is a cover for accommodating the internal components in and having a projecting part 42 projecting out from its side face to the outside and bent downward at its tip part 43, and has terminals 31 for connecting to a power source and a load, a case 1 for accommodating the internal component cover, and a terminal cover 2 which is engaged with the case and covers the terminal block. An end part 21 of the terminal cover enter an end part 14 of the case, and the terminal cover engages with the case, and the bent-downward part of the projecting part of the internal component cover is sandwiched in between the end part of the case and the end part of the terminal cover.
