    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing a cable disconnection capable of surely preventing an occurrence of situation where a cable is accidentally disconnected by allowing the cable to move smoothly so as to secure an extra length of the cable, even when a great tensile force is suddenly applied to the cable caused by an occurrence of an uneven settlement of the ground in the region where the cable is laid due to an earthquake.SOLUTION: According to the method of preventing a cable disconnection of the present invention, a part of cable laid in facilities is placed on a plurality of rollers arranged with predetermined spaces. Also, the cable maintains a state where it bends downwardly between adjoining rollers. When a great tensile force is suddenly applied to a cable laid in various facilities due to an uneven settlement of the ground or the like during an earthquake, the cable, which is bending downwardly between adjoining rollers, moves smoothly so as to extend with the help of the rollers.
