摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wire rope which is improved abrasion resistance and fatigue resistance, eliminated decrease of rope diameter and stabilized for a long term by dispersing and relaxing contact pressure of core rope and side strands with high core rope density in the rope.SOLUTION: In a wire rope 1, there is arranged core rope 2 impregnating with lubricating oil in the center thereof and plural side strands 8 are twisted around the circumference thereof. The core rope 2 is composed of a composition core rope 7 consisting of twisted plural thick main strands 4 and thin secondary strands 6 formed of twisted plural synthetic fibers provided on the circumference where the main strands 4 are in contact with each other. The secondary strand 6 is located in space 9 formed between the main strand 4 and side strands 8.

A female screw formed in the inner diameter of the short cylindrical metal fitting and a male screw formed in the outer diameter of the metal socket holder are screwed to connect the wire rope and the terminal metal fitting.
