    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system capable of correctly determining the number of target planes included in one tracking of trail.
      SOLUTION: The radar system 2 for transmitting the tracking beam having directivity for tracing the object 11 and detecting the object, tracing, information managing, kinds identification and display while receiving the reflected waves from the object. The radar system detects the number of planes of the first object in the range bin 401 for detecting the target, as well as, in the correlation gate 402 of the tracking filter, and out of the range bin 401, the number of planes of the second target is detected. By totalizing the number of planes of the first target and that of the second target, comprehensive number of planes are determined.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an object in a main lobe direction without misdetecting an object in a side lobe direction under an interference environment. SOLUTION: A Σ beam received signal of a main antenna 11 and a first auxiliary beam received signal of a first auxiliary antenna 121 are input to an SLC processor 131 to suppress interference signal components in the Σ beam received signal. The first auxiliary beam received signal of the first auxiliary antenna 121 and a second auxiliary beam received signal of a second auxiliary antenna 122 are input to a SLC processor 132 to suppress interference signal components in the first auxiliary beam received signal. The Σ beam received signal and the first auxiliary beam received signal after interference suppression are input to an SLB processor 14 to remove a side lobe received part of the Σ beam and to extract a main lobe received part thereof. A coefficient K of the SLB processing is switched in accordance with the on/off control of the SLC processing to perform coefficient setting in consideration of residual electric power after interference suppression.
