    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion prevention method for concrete which gives excellent shielding property to carbon dioxide, excellent crack resistance of concrete, and prevents neutralization of concrete; and to provide a concrete structure prepared by the corrosion prevention method for concrete.
      SOLUTION: The corrosion prevention method for concrete includes applying an under coating layer 3, an intermediate coating layer 4, an upper coating layer 5 in the order on a base material 2 constituted of concrete. The intermediate layer 4 is formed by using a composition for the intermediate layer containing an acrylic resin of a glass transition temperature of at most 20°C, water swellable synthetic inorganic layered silicate to form a film thickness of at least 50 μm when dried. The amount of the water swellable synthetic inorganic layered silicate is 1-50 pts.mass when the amount of the acrylic resin is set to 100 pts.mass Also, the concrete structure is prepared by this corrosion prevention method for concrete.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water absorption inhibitor composition for an inorganic base material, capable of being rapidly dried, capable of giving excellent water repellency, durability, and weather resistance to a film obtained therefrom, without developing a wet color, and capable of being used in one operation, and to provide a method for producing the inorganic base material improved in water absorption-inhibiting performance.
      SOLUTION: This water absorption inhibitor composition for the inorganic base material contains a copolymer which contains vinyl monomer units having alkoxysilyl groups and (meth)acrylate ester units not having the alkoxysilyl groups as structural units and has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-10,000, and further the composition contains a catalyst for condensation reaction of the alkoxysilyl groups and a petroleum-based solvent. The method for producing the inorganic base material improved in the water absorption-inhibiting performance comprises treating a porous inorganic base material with the composition.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tile repairing method which enables an appearance, antifouling properties and design property to be maintained over a long period of time by efficiently forming a primer layer, a waterproof layer and a protective layer, excellent in adhesion and durability, in a short period of time, which is hardly affected by a change in temperature, associated with changing seasons, and which is excellent in low-temperature stability because each layer hardly ruptures in a low-temperature period such as winter. SOLUTION: In this tile repairing method, a tile is repaired by forming the primer layer, the waterproof layer and the protective layer in this order on the surface of the tile to be repaired. An organic solvent-based composition is used for the formation of the waterproof layer and the protective layer. The organic solvent-based composition contains a copolymer [A], the hydroxyl value of which is in the range of 10-400 mgKOH/g and the number average molecular weight of which is in the range of 2,000-20,000, low-molecular-weight multivalent alcohol [B], the molecular weight of is 2,000 or less, and an organic polyisocyanate [C] which has two or more isocyanate groups on an average. In the organic solvent-based composition, the glass-transition temperatures of dry materials are in the range of -40°C to 20°C and the range of -30°C to 30°C, respectively; and the former is lower.
