    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply install a beam member and a column member so as to prevent their relative displacement.
      SOLUTION: This structure A for connection is installed between a lower end face of a beam and an upper end face of a column to connect the metallic beam member 1 provided with the lower end face 1a of the beam being substantially flat in an installation condition with the column member 2 provided with the upper end face 2a of the column being substantially flat in an installation condition so as to transmit load from the beam member to the column member. A metallic upper part plate member 9 and a metallic lower part plate member 10 are fixed to both end parts of a metallic cylindrical body 8, respectively, and this structure for connection is provided so as to install between the lower end face of the beam and the upper end face of the column at the attitude where the upper part plate member and the lower part plate member are positioned up and down. The upper part plate member is provided to fix it to the beam member in an installation condition in which a cylindrical shaft axis X of a cylindrical body is along a shaft axis of the column member while its upward facing face 12 comes into face-contact with the lower end face of the beam. The lower part plate member is provided to fix it to the column member while its downward facing face 14 comes into face-contact with the upper end face of the column.

The tension resisting member 4 is installed so that a position for fixing the end 4a is higher than that for fixing the other end 4b, and the slackening of the members 4 is avoided.
