    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt take-up device capable of taking up the seat belt at a proper speed according to a take-up amount of the seat belt. SOLUTION: When an occupant releases a buckle, the seat belt take-up device takes up the seat belt at a take-up speed S1, i.e., a first high speed. Thereby, the seat belt leaves the occupant in a short time. When (T1-T0) time is passed from releasing of the buckle, the seat belt take-up device takes up the seat belt at a take-up speed S2, i.e., a low speed. Thereby, the seat belt is slowly taken up, and it hardly occurs that interior trims are injured by a tongue hitting the interior trims of a vehicle body. Further, when (T2-T1) time is passed, the seat belt take-up device takes up the seat belt at a take-up speed S3, i.e., a second high speed. Thereby, taking up of the seat belt is early completed and when the occupant gets off to the outside of the vehicle, it hardly occurs that the seat belt is clamped by a door.
