    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a tongue while having sufficient effect for suppressing damage or a bruise of surrounding members caused by the contact with the members and effect for alleviating sound caused by the contact with the members. SOLUTION: A tongue cover 10 is attached to a gripping section 5b of a tongue 5, covering the outer periphery edge except for the edge where a locking piece 5a is attached. The tongue cover 10 is made of a synthetic resin or rubber softer than a mold resin used for the gripping section 5b of the tongue 5. Thus, when the tongue 5 comes into contact with the trim of the inner wall of the interior of a vehicle, the tongue cover 10 hits against the trim, thereby the cover for tongue 10 functions as a buffer and suppresses damage and bruises of the trim, and alleviates the generation of sound. The tongue 4 includes a posture holding part 40 brought into contact with a surface of the webbing 2 to suppress the rotation when tension T is applied in a winding direction of the webbing 2 in a seat belt non-attaching state.

      SOLUTION: In the seat belt having the light reflection part, the light reflection part is formed by incorporating and weaving retroreflective reflection yarn as light reflective yarn in warp yarn when weaving webbing by warp yarn and weft yarn. After being dyed, the webbing is cut in a belt shape. Since the light reflection part is formed by incorporating and weaving the retroreflective reflection yarn in the warp yarn, there is neither increase in the number of processes in manufacturing of a seat belt having the light reflection part, nor the deterioration of the light reflectivity of the light reflection part, due to the adhesion of dyeing agent onto the surface of yarn when dyeing the webbing, since the light reflection part is also formed of the retroreflective reflection yarn.
