摘要： PURPOSE:To reliably accomplish operation of a driven side by disposing a variable-flow bybass valve in such a manner as to permit a part of working liquid to leak out in a housing, and connecting device corresponding to the status of the driven side to the valve in variable-filling fluid coupling. CONSTITUTION:A working liquid chambe 18 of a fluid coupling is provide with a working liquid passage 41, and a control device 58 for controlling an opening of a variable-flow bypass valve 43 in such manner that a designated amount of the working liquid is forced to flow into an inflow port 19a through the working liquid passage 41 by chaning the leakage amount of the working liquid from the variable-flow bypass valve 43, that is, the bypass amount. Accordingly, the transmission torque capacity of a driven runner is changed to restore discharge pressure of a centrifugal pump to a designated value, so that the operation of driven side can be reliably accomplished.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce a variable-filling fluid coupling to a compact size by disposing a suction path between a suction port of a casing of a volute pump mounted on an input shaft for fixing a driving runner and a working liquid storing portion and a cischarge path between a discharge port and an inflow port of a coupling cover. CONSTITUTION:A volute pump 20 is used for circulating a working liquid of a coupling and integrated in a bearing housing 5 of an input of shaft 8 to be driven. A discharge path 40a for a working liquid from the pump 20 is formed by an outside pipeline passing a housing 1. Thus, the whole pump device is gathered in the bearing housing to reduce the fluid coupling device to a compact size.
