    • PURPOSE:To enable precise measurement of temperature by a method wherein each pair of lead wires of a plurality of thermocouples is connected to a detector independently and every fixed period, and thereby the interference between the thermocouples is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:Two lead wires of respective thermocouples in plural are connected to the detector independently from each other during a period given to each thermocouple by dividing a time. For example, positive lead wires 1a, 2a, 3a and negative lead wires 1b, 2b, 3b of the thermocouples 1, 2, 3 are connected respectively to the terminals 1A, 2A, 3A and 1B, 2B, 3B of an input channel switching device 4. A prescribed time is divided in three by using a timer, and in the first period, the terminals 1A and 1B are connected to the detector, and so on, whereby exact measurement is made possible by the respective thermocouples even in the case when the thermocouples are short-circuited by a substance to be measured due to the melting of metal.

    • PURPOSE:To loading a cavity uniformly and completely with raw material particles, by clamping a stationary mold and a movable mold having an assistant mold that can be moved forward and backward, and filling a cavity that is being expanded by the backward movement of the assistant mold with foamable thermopolastic resin particles. CONSTITUTION:After a stationary mold 1 and a movable mold 2 are clamped together, a first assistant mold 3 and a second assistant mold 4 are arranged as shown, and when raw material particles are loaded from a loading machine together with air, the air is discharged through sliding surfaces between the movable mold 2 and the first assistant mold 3 and sliding surfaces between the first assistant mold 3 and the second assistant mold 4, and the cavity 6 is filled uniformly with the raw material particles. Then the second assistant mold is kept fixed, and the first assistant mold 3 is retracted to suck the raw material particles. Thereafter, when the retraction of the first assistant mold 3 is topped and at the same time the filling of the raw material articles is stopped, the filling of the expanding cavity with the raw material particles is completed.

    • PURPOSE:To improve rust preventive property by forming a friction material for a car by the base material mainly composed of amorphous metal, a binder, and a friction adjustment agent. CONSTITUTION:The base material is formed by amorphous metal using iron element as the principal component and adding silicon, boron and so on to the iron element. As a binder, phenol group resin, denatured phenol resin and the like are used. As a friction adjustment agent, used is inorganic powder such as barium sulfate, diatomaceous earth, alumina, dolomite or the like. The rust preventive property can be improved without damaging friction characteristics by forming a friction material by the above materials.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the surface accuracy of a foamed and molded item, by making all or part of a molding surface out of a ceramic porous body. CONSTITUTION:After a fixed mold 1 and a movable mold 2 a completely clamped by pressuring, when the cavity 4 is filled by air with preliminarily foamed particles that have been prepared by preliminarily foaming foamable thermoplastic resin particles, the air reaches steam chambers 7, 7 through steam holes 6, 6 and communication holes in ceramic porous bodies 3, 3 and is discharged from supply discharge holes 8, 8, and the cavity 4 is filled uniformly with the preliminarily foamed particles. Then when steam is supplied from the supply/discharge holes 8, 8, the steam fills the steam chambers 7, 7 and flows into the cavity 4 through the steam holes 6, 6 and the communication holes in the ceramic porous bodies 3, 3 to cause the preliminarily foamed particles to be heated and foamed uniformly, the steam is discharged from the supply/discharge holes 8, 8, and then after cooling water is supplied from the supply/discharge holes 8, 8 for cooling, the molds are opened and the obtained foamed and molded item is taken out.
