    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal method which realizes the avoidance of the scorching or the like of garbage, and a garbage disposal apparatus.
      SOLUTION: In the garbage disposal method, the garbage (2) housed in a disposal tank (4) is heated by the combustion heat of a fuel gas (G) while the vapor (43) produced in the disposal tank by this heating is guided to a cooling means (condenser 44) from the disposal tank and cooled to be returned to the disposal tank. The fuel gas is combusted by a combustion means (burners 20 and 21) to heat the garbage in the disposal tank by the combustion heat of the fuel gas and the temperature of the combustion exhaust gas of the combustion means is detected. When the temperature of the combustion exhaust gas reaches a definite temperature, the supply of the fuel gas to the combustion means is regulated to control the combustion of the combustion means and the temperature of the combustion exhaust gas is controlled to a predetermined temperature or below.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use heat of a heating medium in which heat is accumulated, promote efficient use of an auxiliary heat source side and suppress increase in pressure loss when an auxiliary heat source is used.SOLUTION: This water heater includes: a first heat exchange means (first heat exchanger 4) exchanging heat between a heating medium and supply water; a second heat exchange means (second heat exchanger 6) exchanging heat between heat of the auxiliary heat source (auxiliary heat source device 38) and the supply water; and a control means (control part 8). When a hot water supply target temperature is achieved by the heat exchange by the first heat exchange means, heat exchange is performed only by the first heat exchange means. When the hot water supply target temperature cannot be achieved by the heat exchange only by the first heat exchange means, heat exchange is performed by both of the first heat exchange means and the second heat exchange means or only by the second heat exchange means.
