      SOLUTION: In this multipurpose building, a utility area building 2 and a multipurpose area building 3 separate from the utility area building 2 are connected together via a communication passage 4; the utility area building 2 is equipped with a machine room, and a vertical movement means such as an elevator and a staircase; the multipurpose area building 3 is composed of one or more independent building frames 6; the building frame 6 comprises a plurality of columns 7 which are erected only on the border line of the frame and vertically elongated across a plurality of stories, a girder 8 which is arranged on the border line and rigidly joined to the column 7 on each story, and a beam 9 which is laid between the girders 8 facing each other at a short interval and rigidly joined to the girder 8; and the multipurpose area building 3 has the large astylar planning-free space.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sickroom partition system in a ward of next generation type in a hospital for acute disease patients capable of flexibly coping with various changes in medical treatment requiring reduction of sickbed scale, reduction of the number of days of hospitalization, reduction of nursing unit scale, establishment of a medical treatment system attaching the greatest importance to nursing or the like and providing both of a personal space being comfortable for the patient and formed by paying close attention to his/her privacy and a nursing space enabling nurses to take good care of the patients one by one at the same time. SOLUTION: A building 1 of this hospital has the ward 3 being a large free space without column and wall. The number of sickrooms and their layout can be freely set. Many end connections for piping and wiring are formed at the predetermined interval on a floor of the ward 3 in advance. The ward 3 has personal units installed to rotate centered on the end connections. The personal unit is composed of a partition opening a part of its circumference, a medical unit having medical treatment gas feeder and suction implement, and an amenity unit provided with a personal air conditioning unit and a lighting system.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax traffic congestion by changing the number of up lanes and down lanes properly by judging a situation of congestion of the up lanes and down lanes. SOLUTION: Median strip formation devices 2a, 2b are provided on traffic lanes 13, 14 close to a central part of a road 1 having a plurality of lanes 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. The median strip formation devices 2a, 2b consist of a partition part 4 partitioning up lanes and down lanes and a lifting device 5 moving this partition part vertically. A median strip is formed, by selectively protruding either of the partition parts 4 and 4 of the median strip formation devices 2a, 2b on a road surface. When the partition part 4 lowers, its top face becomes flush with the road surface so that a vehicle can run thereon.
