    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing capable of inhibiting the intrusion of a large amount of foreign matters into a connecting rod bearing through a sliding face of the sliding bearing and a lubricant supply passage while increasing and securing a lubricant oil pressure in an oil groove in a main hole. SOLUTION: In this sliding bearing 4 composed of an upper split bearing half 8 and a lower split bearing half 9, the oil groove 10 for circulating the lubricant is formed over the entire circumferential extent of the sliding face 8a of the upper split bearing half 8, the oil groove is opened to a junction part 8b through a crush relief 8c, and a bottom part 10a of the oil groove is formed in a state that a part at a junction part side in the circumferential direction of the crush relief is close to a central side of the upper split bearing half with respect to a part at a central side. As the intrusion of a large amount of foreign matters in the oil groove into the connecting rod bearing through the sliding face of the sliding bearing and the lubricant supply passage can be inhibited, and the amount of oil leaked from the crush relief can be reduced, the lubricant oil pressure can be increased and secured.       SOLUTION: This oil tank 4 comprises a gas-liquid separator 8 used for the dry sump type lubricating device 1 of an internal combustion engine 100, installed separately from the engine body 101 of the internal combustion engine 100, imparting a gas-liquid separating action utilizing centrifugal force to the lubricating oil returned from the engine body 101, discharging air bubbles provided from a gas discharge port 8c, and discharging the residual lubricating oil from a liquid discharge port 8b. The liquid discharge port 8b is disposed in the lubricating oil stored in the oil tank 4 and a guide 10 is disposed between the liquid discharge port 8b and the wall surface of the oil tank 4 to change the flowing direction of the residual lubricating oil discharged from the liquid discharge port 8b to the direction of the lubricating oil turning in the oil tank 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently send exhaust gas in an engine exhaust passage into a crankcase, while restraining deterioration in engine oil.
      SOLUTION: An auxiliary catalyst 13 and a main catalyst 15 are arranged in the engine exhaust passage. The inside of an exhaust pipe 14 on the upstream side of the main catalyst 15 which is the downstream side of the auxiliary catalyst 13 is successively connected to the inside of the crankcase 20 via an upstream side communicating passage 17u, an introduction control valve 18 and a common communicating passage 19. The inside of an exhaust pipe 16 on the downstream side of the main catalyst 15 is successively connected to the inside of the crankcase 20 via a downstream side communicating passage 17d, the introduction control valve 18 and the common communicating passage 19. A rate of an exhaust gas quantity introduced via the upstream side communicating passage 17u and an exhaust gas quantity introduced via the downstream side communicating passage 17d is changed according to an engine operation state by controlling the introduction control valve 18. Blow-by gas in the crankcase 20 is substituted by the introduced exhaust gas.
