    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal detection sensor capable of knowing proper timing for re-coating a coating agent.SOLUTION: The molten metal detection sensor includes an electrode rod 22 which detects existence of a molten metal by contacting. A first protective coating film 26 is formed on a surface of the electrode rod. And a second protective coating film 28 different from the first protective coating film in color is formed on a surface of the first protective coating film. The first protective coating film gradually disappears when the electrode rod is repeatedly immersed in a high-temperature molten metal. A surface color of the electrode rod changes if the first protective coating film disappears and the second protective coating film is exposed. A point of time when the surface color of the electrode rod changes is suitable timing for re-coating a coating agent of the second protective coating film.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding housing which is not easily disassembled and shields electromagnetic waves, and to provide a manufacturing method of the electromagnetic wave shielding housing.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding housing 1 includes: a metal cup shaped case 2 having an opening 22; a metal cover 3 covering the opening 22; a snap-fit mechanism 4 which has an engaging protrusion part 40 disposed at one of the case 2 and the cover 3 and an engaged recess part 41 disposed at the other of the case 2 and the cover 3 and fixes the case 2 to the cover 3 by engaging the engaging protrusion part 40 with the engaged recess part 41; and an adhesion part 5 adhering the case 2 to the cover 3. The engaging protrusion part 40 engages with the engaged recess part 41 leaving permanent deformation occurring during the engagement.
