SOLUTION: This method or system has such a scheme that, a plurality of position control patterns for operating an actuator for advancing/retreating knitting needles are stored in a memory for each course and for each knitting needle; based on the position control patterns thus stored, a standby position for the preceding course is set as the advance/retreat starting position for the present course and a position control pattern including a plurality of knitting needle positions for the knit texture on the present course is set as a position control pattern to be used in a knitting operation on the present course; thereby standby positions for knitting needles can be set as positions corresponding to a knit texture, and even if a standby position on the preceding course and an advance/retreat starting position on the present course differ from each other, a knitting needle movement becomes smooth.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a needle pricking number by manual aid and to improve operability by providing a first waste knit part formed at the side end part of a fabric main body part and a second waste knit part formed at the terminating end side of the first waste knit part and the fabric main body part over the range of crossing the extension line of a linking line. SOLUTION: A first stitch on the linking lines 22 and 24 of this collar knit fabric 10 is pricked with a point needle at a needle pricking position prior to linking. When an automatic linking device is activated, the collar knit fabric 10 is gradually moved accompanying the rotation of a drum and a feed roller and the needle is successively pricked to the stitches on both linking lines 22 and 24 at a corresponding needle pricking position. For a needle pricked part, a body knit fabric is clamped while moving around the drum and thereafter, it is sewn together at a sewing position by a sewing machine. The sewing machine starts an operation after a waste knit part 18 is passed through the sewing position. At the sewing position, since it is not overlapped with the start end part of the collar knit fabric 10, the waste knit part 18 does not obstruct sewing.

Or, the linking stitch positions are computed with the image-treating means, and the stitches T of the knitted fabric image are assigned with the coordinate-inputting device. The assigned stitches are subsequently marked and displayed as described above.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the resolution of control of knitting yarn quantity par a course to stably control the knitting yarn quantity and also to prevent the lowering of the quality of the resultant knotted fabric. SOLUTION: This method for controlling knitted yarn quantity comprises the step wherein a sample yarn length in the knitting of a sample knitting fabric is compared with the consumed yarn length in the knitting of a practical knitting fabric, the control of the degree (the draw amount of knitting yarn in the knitting of the next control region) in each course is performed against the knitting operations using the knitting needles excluding at least one knitting needle out of the knitting needles used in the knitting of the course based on the result of the comparison. Thus, the variation of consumed yarn length is reduced by the amount corresponding the number of the knitting needles which are not used in the control of the degree although they are used for knitting.

SOLUTION: A pair of stitches 1, 2 are formed at the starting end or the terminal end, especially at the terminal end, of a knitting zone of a weft knitted fabric, and the stitch 1 which is firstly formed is passed through the stitch 2 which is formed secondly, and subsequently the stitch 2 is tightened to fix the knitting zone side of the stitch 1 by knitting weaves, and the crossing yarn B2-side of the stitch 1 is tighten in the connection to the stitch 2 to form a knotted state. Thus, the pulling of the crossing yarn B2 results only in the strong tightening of the knot to make stitch N2 small, and there is no danger of disengagement.

Then, the other knitting fabric is pierced with the needle 8 and one knit fabric is sewn with the other knit fabric while relatively moving the sewing machine 16 and the needle row corresponding to the pitch of the needle 8 pierced in the stitch to be sewn.
