As a result, the cooling air flows uniformly through the respective gaps 24 and a battery system 20 can be uniformly cooled.

Besides, when a great amount of heat is generated, the heat is removed by insulating refrigerant 16 stored in a container 14, so that the IGBT 10 is prevented from being overheated. Furthermore, the temperature of the heat radiating plate 12 can also be arbitarily controlled by controlling the pressure of insulating refrigerant 16 by a vacuum pump.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging and discharging control device that can detect the charged state of a set battery properly taking the variation of the charged amount into account and can control charging and discharging properly. SOLUTION: The charged amount dispersion (oblique line area) between battery blocks constituting a set battery is detected. The variable range (A-B) of the charged amount is obtained by subtracting the detected dispersion value from the width between the upper and the lower limit value of the charged amount. Where the present charged amount (C, star mark) is positioned in the variable range is detected as a charged state. For instance, it is assumed that both ends of the variable range are 0% and 100%, and the variable range is used as a full scale. Then, the position of the charged amount on the scale is determined by a percentage ratio. The detection of the charging state is performed taking the dispersion of the charging state and the variation of the variable range into account and thereby, proper charging and discharging control is carried out based on the charged state.
