    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular operating device for hardly giving a sense of incongruity to an operator who views a display part when recognizing the positions of operation switches to operate them. SOLUTION: The vehicular operating device 2 having an operation part 10 and the display part 30 separately arranged is equipped with a contact detecting means 40, a thrusting operation detecting means 40, and a display control means 40. The contact detecting means 40 detects that the operator contacts the operation switches 11-20 arranged on the operation part 10. The thrusting operation detecting means 40 detects that the operator presses the operation switches 11-20. The display control means 40 displays the arrangement positions of the contact-detected operation switches 11-20 on the display part 30 in different modes when the pressing operation is not detected and when the pressing operation is detected. The display control means 40 does not display the arrangement positions during a predetermined time after the contact is detected but at least until the pressing operation is detected.
