Said reading unit 31 sends the discrimination code signal CS to the input of a control unit 32 which reads out the type of the work corresponding to said signal CS from a memory and a work incorporating part list to generate the part indicating signal output DS from the incorporating part code signal and drive indicators 33aW33c of the corresponding part receiving racks 22aW22c for lighting indicating lamps and opening a opening and closing lid. By this constitution can be automated the discrimination of work types and the indication of incorporating parts.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease axial deviation of a work and to improve the accuracy of a tooth profile by pressing and clamping the work to a guide base by means of a clamping device from above and below when a tailstock arrives at the advancing end. CONSTITUTION:A work W is supported on a receiving base 12 in front of a tailstock 11 and thereafter the tailstock 11 is advanced. When the tailstock arrives at the advancing end, the work W is supported at the center by means of the center of a spindle and the center 11a of the tailstock 11. A clamping device 25 is actuated at the same time and a clamping rod 27 descends to press a clampling member 28 pivotally supported oscillatably at the top end thereof to an engaging block 23, thereby pressing and clamping the tailstock 11 to a guide base 9. The work supporting base is relatively moved from this state and rolling dies and the engaging member engage with the outside circumferential surface of the work, by which the rolling of a gear is accomplished.

    • PURPOSE:To permit easy adjustment of the height of rolling dies without changing the height of engaging members even if the height of the rooling dies are adjusted in a rolling machine which forms teeth on the outside circumferential surface of a work piece by supporting the bottom surfaces of the engaging members on a tool rest or a reference block united in one body thereto. Engaging members 21a, 21b pressed to both side faces of the rides 6a, 6b are engaged with the dies with some allowance for undercut. Since the members 21a, 21b are supported on a reference block 40, there is no change in the height position of the members 21a, 21b not fluctuation in the allowance for undercut to the work piece W accompanied with said change even if the spacing between the dies 6a and 6b is adjusted and therefore the need for the readjustment for maintaining the allowance for undercut such as regrinding of the members 21a, 21b is eliminated at all.

    • PURPOSE:To remove the dust which windingly adheres to a drill, so as to reduce problems such as a defect in the shape of a hole, and a breakage of the drill, by moving dust removing means and the drill, relatively to each other, for stroking down the surface of the drill toward the tip of it, with the dust removing means. CONSTITUTION:After making a hole in a work, a drill 2 is drawn out and brought back to where it was. At this time, a stroking plate 4 is moved toward the tip of the drill 2, by rotating the drill 2 leftwards and operating a cylinder 8, to move the dust which windingly adheres to the surface of the drill 2, along the groove of the drill 2 toward the tip of it, and drop this dust. This motion of the stroking plate 4 is performed by the electrical signal, at the same time as the reverse rotation of the drill 2, when the drill 2 which has done the processing, is brought back to where it was. Accordingly, as the dust which windingly adheres to the drill 2 at the processing work, can be removed easily, problems such as a defect in the shape of the hole, and a breakage of the drill, can be reduced.
