CONSTITUTION:A connecting rod 13 extended from a core 5 is connected with a piston rod in a cylinder 11 for pulling out so as to be freely turned and the cylinder 11 is supported so as to be swingable, while making a swing shaft 16a the center, to a supporting plate 15a projected to the die 1, and the cylinder 11 can be swung in the condition of matching the swing shaft 16a with the axis line of the connecting shaft of both rods. At the time of changing the die, the cylinder 11 for pulling out is swung along an arc-like guide surface 19 in the supporting plate 15a by working a cylinder 23 for swing, this cylinder 11 is made to be in the condition of laying sideward and the interference between the cylinder 11 and a tie bar in a die casting machine is avoided, and change of the die can be executed without pulling out the tie bar.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a fact that a molten metal in a holding furnace becomes below the molten metal waiting holding quantity even if a product whose molten metal consumption is different becomes an object, to contrive the leveling of a molten metal distribution work and to improve the productivity by outputting a molten metal distribution instructing signal so that the molten metal distribution holding time becomes constant. CONSTITUTION:This method uses a molten metal quantity detecting device 6 for detecting the molten metal quantity of a handy holding furnace 2, a setting device 7 for inputting and setting various data, and an arithmetic processing unit 8 which is connected to said molten metal quantity detecting device and executes an operation in accordance with set data of the setting device 7 and detection data of the molten metal quantity detecting device. In this state, the molten metal holding time required for reaching the molten metal waiting from a molten metal distribution instruction is calculated from pouring weight data of a casting product and casting cycle time data. Also, based on this molten metal distribution holding time, the reference molten metal holding quantity is calculated. When the detection quantity by said molten metal quantity detecting device 6 reaches said reference molten metal holding quantity, the molten metal is replenished, by which leveling of the molten metal distribution work is contrived and the productivity can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To discriminate exactly and surely a false casting by measuring the number of shots and the die temp. corresponding thereto and comparing the prescribed number of shots and the reference die temp. CONSTITUTION:A die temp. TD is measured by a temp. sensor, etc. in a die casting machine and the number of shots at the die temp. TD is counted. The temp. TD and the shots N in said stage are compared respectively with the reference temp. and reference number of shots. If either or both of the value TD and number N of shots are below the reference values, said shot is discriminated as the false casting and the signal thereof is outputted as the signal to display the false casting via an OR circuit. If the detected temp. TD is above the reference temp., the detection signal is discriminated as the normal casting via an AND circuit and the prescribed display signal is outputted.
