SOLUTION: A strongly bonded body can be obtained by pressurizing and shaping a porous metallic body, having a mean porous diameter of 50 to 200 μm for tightly bonding the same with a metallic core so that the porous metallic body would not easily peel from the metallic core, where a layer of nickel- phosphorus alloy is formed on a surface of the metallic core.

SOLUTION: After a nickel-bismuth alloy layer is formed on a steel plate, an iron-nickel and nickel-bismuth diffusion layers are formed on the respective boundary surfaces by heating it at a temperature in the range of 300-650 deg.C in an atmosphere of an inert gas or a non-oxidative gas for 240-600 minutes. In addition, a steel plate for which one or more layers of an iron-nickel diffusion layer, a nickel metal layer, a nickel-bismuth diffusion layer and an iron-nickel- bismuth alloy layer is used for a case material.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a surface treated steel sheet improved in scratching resistance without deteriorating its corrosion resistance by using a steel sheet as a substrate, forming a nickel plating layer with specified coating weight on the side equivalent to the outer face of the case and moreover forming a tin- nickel alloy layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:A plain steel cold rolled steel sheet is used as a substrate, and on the side equivalent to the outer face of the case, a nickel plating layer is formed by 10 to 45g/m coating weight. Next, the surface of this nickel plating layer is applied with tin plating by about 0.5 to 10g/m coating weight and is subjected to heat treatment at about 450 deg.C to form into a tin-nickel alloy layer, and an iron-nickel diffusion layer of about 0.2 to 6mum is moreover formed. Thus, the surface treated steel sheet for an alkaline battery case furthermore improved in scratching resistance at a low cost without deteriorating its corrosion resistance can be obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a nickel-plated steel sheet excellent in flaw resistance and workability by forming a nickel-plated layer of specified build-up amount on the double sides of the steel sheet and furthermore plating Ni-P alloy having specified composition at specified build-up amount and thereafter performing specified heat-treatment. CONSTITUTION:Ni plating and/or an Ni-Fe alloy layer of 5-45g/m buildup amount are formed on both the surface and the rear of a steel sheet. The Ni-Fe alloy layer is preferably regulated to 0.2-10mum thickness. Furthermore Ni-P alloy plating contg. 5-15wt.% P is performed at 1-18g/m Ni build-up amount on the upper layer of at least single side. This Ni plating and Ni-P alloy plating are preferably performed by electrolytic treatment. Then the steel sheet after plating treatment is heat-treated at 450-800 deg.C for 0.2-900 minutes and thereby the adhesive properties of both plated layers are enhanced and the Ni-P alloy layer is cured. Thereby the Ni-plated steel sheet is obtained which is high in hardness and flaw resistant while holding excellent workability and furthermore has corrosion resistance after work in combination therewith.

SOLUTION: The battery case utilizes a surface treatment steel plate having bright nickel or bright nickel-cobalt alloy plating at its outermost layer, obtained by a molding method such as a deep-draw molding, a DI molding, or a DTR molding method. Since the bright nickel plating or bright nickel-cobalt alloy plating layer at the outermost layer has a high brilliancy, it gives an excellent appearance. Further, flow rate of the battery cases after molding is excellent, hence a good operating efficiency.
