摘要： PURPOSE:To prepare an anisotropic polysulfone semi-permeable membrane excellent in mechanical strength, heat resistance and chemical resistance, by using an aprotic polar solvent containing a specific amount of ethylene glycol as a solvent for a polysulfone polymer. CONSTITUTION:As a polysulfone polyer, a polysulfone or a polyaryl ether sulfone having repeating units shown by formulaeIor II is used and disolved in an aprotic polar solvent such as DMF, DMAC, NMP, solfilane or hexamethylphosporamide containing ethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol with M. W. of 500 or more in an amount of 30-60wt%. This solution is formed into a film and, after one surface of the formed film is contacted with an inert atmosphere, contacted with an aqueous solution containing the above described solvent to remove the solvent therein. The membane obtained by this method has a high pressure resistance and can be effectively applied to separation and concentration of a low-molecular gaseous substance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance dynamical strength by forming a multi-axial laminated sheet by blended fiber yarns of reinforcing fibers and a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing fibers and thermoplastic resin fibers are drawn and aligned to be opened electrostatically and the monofilaments of both of them are mutually entangled in an opened state to form blended fiber yarns. A multi-axis laminated sheet is formed from the blended fiber yarns thus obtained. A plurality of these sheets or one or more of this sheet and other kind of a sheet are laminated and heated to the melting and flowing temp. of the thermoplastic resin fibers to be subjected to press molding. The multi-axis laminated sheet and other kinds of sheets to be laminated are laminated, for example, for the purpose of enhancing the surface smoothness of a molded body, imparting coloring and decorative effect and enhancing weatherability and subjected to press molding to be integrated. Since this multi-axis laminated sheet is composed of yarns arranged straightly, reinforcing effect is effectively developed as compared with a conventional plain fabric.

CONSTITUTION:Firstly, 85-20wt.% of thermoplastic organic short fiber meltable under forming conditions (e.g. polyethylene fiber) and 5-20wt.% of reinforcing short fiber 10-120mm in fiber length and 1-10 denier in single fiber fineness (e.g. poly-pphenylene fiber) are blended to prepare fiber bundles, which are then drafted with a fine spinning frame; and when the drafted fiber bundles are delivered through a front roller, reinforcing filaments are opened and 10-60wt.% thereof is fed from the upstream side of the front roller and superposed on the yarn being drafted followed by twisting to obtain blended yarn for the objective precursor pref. 2-4 in twist multiplier. Thence, a weaving is made using said blended yarn as wefts and said thermoplastic organic fiber as warps followed by lamination at each specified number of plies and angle and then carrying out melt forming, thus obtaining the objective precursor.

A contact time is several sec-several min at 10-100 deg.C. As the solvent, isophthaloyl chloride, terephthaloyl chloride or the like is used.
