    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive switch system for a rotary power tool that can select drive control of a desirable push operation system or lever operation system according to work content. SOLUTION: A push operation system drive switch 30 for switching on when a rotary tool 14 coupled to an output shaft of an electric motor to provide work such as screw tightening is placed in contact with a work object such as a screw and then displaced or depressed, and a lever operation system drive switch 32 for switching on when a switch lever 26 arranged on a grip part of a rotary power tool is displaced or depressed, comprise respective combinations of magnets 31a and 33a and magnetic sensors 31b and 33b. The magnetic sensors are each connected to a feeding circuit of the electric motor 12. With either operation system selected, a magnetic sensing operation of the magnetic sensor of the selected operation system switches the feeding circuit on to start driving the electric motor.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a nonconductive clutch device by which the occurrence of impact vibration or an impact sound of a motor-driven rotary tool can be prevented by improving a shape of a clutch cam surface, and preventing spring resiliency acting on the clutch cam surface from colliding suddenly with the surface when clutch operation is carried out. CONSTITUTION:A driven shaft 26 is connected to an output shaft 14 of an electric motor through a planetary gear mechanism 12, and an internal gear 20 meshing with a planetary gear 28 is arranged rotatably freely in a cylindrical gripping part casing 28 to surround the planetary gear mechanism 12. A steel ball 30 to carry out clutch operation is contacted with an outside surface of a blocked-up bottom surface part of the internal gear 20 while holding spring resiliency in the thrust direction, and a projecting part 22 which projects at a necessary inclination successively in the direction with which the steel ball contacts when the driven shaft 26 is rotated forward and is used as a clutch cam surface to become a gentle inclination gradually thereafter, is arranged on the outside surface of the blocked-up bottom surface part of the internal gear 20 with which this steel ball 30 contacts.

    • PURPOSE:To perform high precise detection of a torque value by a method wherein a notch part is formed in the proper spot of a planetary reduction mechanism and the casing part of a clutch mechanism, one end of a rocking detecting piece is inserted therein, and displacement of the rocking detecting piece is detected by a strain gauge. CONSTITUTION:In a device wherein through rotation of a motor incorporated in a grasping part 10, a driven shaft 20 is decelerated and rotated through a planetary reduction mechanism 16, a specified peripheral groove serving as a clutch surface is formed in the outer peripheral part of an internal gear 34 in a grasping part casing 18 and a long groove 38 paralleling an output shaft 14 is formed in a part thereof, and a roller 40 is fitted in the long groove 38. Meanwhile, a part of the grasping part casing 18 which the clutch surface of the internal gear 34 is facing to is formed at a torque regulating spring containing case 70. One end, holding a steel ball 44, of a rocking detecting piece 42 is inserted in a notch part 70b formed in a part of the case 70, a strain gauge 52 is arranged in a stretched state at the other end and through detection of a torque value from an output therefrom, the torque value is made serviceable to control of the stop of a motor.

    • PURPOSE:To measure clamping torque continuously, by fixing the torsion bar, to which the strain gauge is stuck, onto the outside circumference of the internal gear which gears with the epicyclic gear which decelerates rotation of the driving source. CONSTITUTION:Decelerated rotation force from the driving source is transferred to the driving shaft, which has the end part fixed to disc 34, through epicyclic gear 32, which gears with the internal teeth of internal gear 30 and is arranged in the position of the regular triangle on disc 34, by the pinion gear fixed to output shaft 40, and the clamping work of the bolt, the nut, and so on is performed through chuck 54 and the driver. since torsion bar 18 to which strain gauge 20 extending from slit 44 of cylindrical casing 16 in the radius direction is fixed to the outside circumference of internal gear 32, the counter load at the clamping work time is transferred to internal gear 32 to distort torsion bar 18 whose rotation is controlled by stopper 51, and thus, clamping torque is detected.
