SOLUTION: In clamping an optical component W by means of a clamp jaw 31F on the reference side of a first slide 17 and a clamp jaw 31M on the movable side of a second slide 19, the second slide 19 is receded from the first slide 17 by a moving means 45, setting the optical parts W between the clamp jaws 31F, 31M, turning off the moving means 45, biasing the second slide 19 to the first 17 by a prescribed force by a biasing means 37 and thereby clamping the optical parts W.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a UV irradiation device for connecting optical part capable of being installed in a small space irradiating a UV adhesive at two places of connecting surfaces to which the optical part is connected with UV light beams. SOLUTION: When two closing connecting surfaces on which a UV adhesive is coated are irradiated with UV light beams to dry and solidify the surfaces and an optical part is connected, a moving mechanism is moved so that the direction of a UV light beam irradiating head 13 attached to a turning holder 7 in the state turned by an actuator 15 is matched to one side of connecting surface, since the UV light beams are irradiated at respective turning limit angles after the turning angle of the turning holder 7 is set by a turning stopper 19 so that the UV light beam irradiating head 13 is directed to the other side of connecting surface in the state that the turning holder 7 is turned by an energizing means 9, two closing connecting surfaces are surely irradiated with the UV light beams irradiated from the UV light beam irradiating head 13.

Thus, the micro male side optical part 33 is correctly inserted to the microhole provided in the female side optical part 45.

SOLUTION: A spherical seat 75, which is equipped with a movable holder 95 for retaining an optical fiber part 59 to be joined, is engaged with a spherical recess 69 provided in a housing 73. The spherical seat 75 is separable from the recess 69 by the air blowing off from plural air nozzles 97 installed in the recess 69, while a sucking member 77 on the spherical seat 75 pulls it toward the recess 69. Accordingly, by adjusting the sucking force of the sucking member 77 with an adjusting means 81, and by keeping a balance between the separating force of the air and the sucking force, the spherical seat 75 is freely rotatably supported in a state floating with a specific space from the recess 69.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the clouding and heating of clear glass and to decrease an influence upon a temperature sensor by a method wherein purging gas is flowed into an annular pass provided around the opening of an observation window to wash the inner surface of the clear glass. CONSTITUTION:Purging gas is flowed from a gas leading tube 40 into an annular pass 39 provided around the opening 38 of an observation window 37 and is formed to be almost equal pressure in the circumference direction in the pass 39. The gas is spurted toward the inner surface of clear glass 44 from a gas outlet 46 and flowed so that the inner surface of the glass 44 may be washed out. The inner surface of the glass 44 and a part of the outer surface of a bell jar 26 facing to the inner surface of the glass is kept in clean condition. This permits precise measurement of a temperature sensor 52. The purging gas has an action of cooling the observation window 37. Therefore, heating at the temperature sensor 52 and the holding section can be controlled to the minimum.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance productivity and to obtain an inexpensive stock material with high reliability by reducing the displacement amount of a stock material level due to defoaming of the stock material in a tank main body to increase the amount of the stock material in relation to the volume of the tank main body. CONSTITUTION:When a stock material 3 is introduced into a defoaming tank 1 and a vacuum pump 5 is operated, said stock material is expanded. Because a sensor 14 detecting a rise in the level of the stock material is provided to a part below an E dimension from a pipe connecting port 7a, when the level thereof is raised, the signal from the sensor is sent to a controller to open a valve 17 and air or an inert gas is flowed into the tank. The lowering of the level is detected by a sensor 15 to close the valve 17 by the signal therefrom. By detecting and controlling the level of the stock material to be defoamed, because defoaming work can be carried out under such a condition that the stock material introduced in an amount of about 80-90% on the basis of a tank volume, workability and productivity are remarkably enhanced.
