    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood flow image which enhances the visibility and discriminability of a blood vessel by securing the clearness of the blood vessel itself, and restraining MR signals from substantial parts such as fat and muscles. SOLUTION: This MRI device includes a means whereby a first pulse sequence PS-A for collecting echo signals by selectively exciting the spin of an imaged surface is executed for each amount of phase encoding, a means whereby a second pulse sequence PS-B including prepulses which pre-excite a surface different from the imaged surface and collecting echo signals by selectively exciting the spin of the imaged surface after application of the prepulses is executed for each amount of phase encoding before or after the first pulse sequence, and a means whereby two frame images are reconfigured from separately obtained echo signals to originate a differential image between the images. The first and second pulse sequences include rephase pulses and reading pulses that reverse the polarity of a gradient magnetic field in a reading direction based on FE method.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten scanning time, and to prevent the misregistration of image by combining plural pulse sequences to assemble one scanner, executing successively the pulse sequence of different scanners at every one encoding step, and thereby executing plural scannings. CONSTITUTION:Many data collection sequences for plural scannings are set in advance to a sequence controller 24. Subsequently, by switching sequence memories 26-36 by using a random access function of an address controller 22 and the sequence controller 24, one scanner is assembled by combining pulse sequences, and the pulse sequences of different scanners are executed successively at every one encoding step. Accordingly, the position reproducibility of an image at every scanning is improved. In such a way, a misregistration in an operation between images can be prevented, and also, plural different scannings can be executed in a short time.

    • PURPOSE:To uniformalize the static magnetic field with high precision by fixing the electric current supplied to a shim coil for correcting the magnetic field when the line width of the magnetic resonance signal in a frequency region which is obtained by a conversion means is less than a prescribed value, and varying the electric current supplied into the shim coil for correcting the magnetic field when the line width is over the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The echo signal as MR signal is obtained from a receiver 26 by executing a pulse sequence, and this signal is converted to the MR signal in a frequency region by a Fourier converter 30, and this MR signal is introduced into a judging device 38 through a selector 32, and the line width (pi) at (epsilon)% from the peak of the MR signal in the frequency region is measured, and when the width (pi) is a predetermined value or less, the inclined magnetic field DC offset uniformalizes the static magnetic field with high precision, and fixed. When the width (pi) is not less than a prescribed value, the inclined magnetic field DC offset at this time does not uniformalize the static magnetic field with high precision, hence the DC offset which is varied by a DC offset changing device 40 is set.

    • PURPOSE: To realize at least two functions among a fat suppressing function, an artery and vein separating function and an STC function without prolonging a photographing time by providing a means for applying a prepulse with a specified flip angle on a slice face related to photographing and on either one face side adjoining to the slice face. CONSTITUTION: A fat suppressing function is made to be practiced by saturating the frequency region 13 where the spectrum 12 of a fat component is generated with a prepulse 14 and the fat component 12 is suppressed thereby to image a water component 11. In addition, an artery and vein separation function is made to be practiced by saturating the region 16 being the upstream side of the artery to a slice face 15 with a prepulse and the artery flow flowing into the slice region 15 is suppressed thereby to image only the vein. In addition, an STC function applies a prepulse with a flip angle of 180 deg.-1,000 deg. to saturate a region 18 being different from each of the water component 11 and the fat component 12 to decrease the spectrum of the water component thereby.

    • PURPOSE:To depict only an artery and to make it into a picture by setting the direction of a slice selected by a selecting excitation pulse to the direction in which the artery flows, and inhibiting irradiation of the selecting excitation pulse to an area which is adjacent to its slice and contains the artery flowing into the slice. CONSTITUTION:By a transmitting/receiving coil 3 provided together with a static magnetic field magnet 1 and an X-Z axis-inclined magnetic field coil 2 in a gantry 20, an echo signal generated by magnetic resonance is detected, and by performing a prescribed signal processing to a magnetic resonance signal received by a receiver 6, a tomographic image of a subject is generated and displayed on a display part 12. In the case, the slice direction selected by a selecting excitation pulse is set to the direction running along a body axis, that is, the direction in which an artery flows, and the inflow side of the artery whose depiction is desired, that is, an adjacent area being nearer to the heart than a photographing area is not excited, so that a spin in the artery always flow into the photographing area in a fresh state, and by relatively heightening signal intensity of the spin in the artery, only the artery can be depicted.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve a setting by an electrical setting operation while facilitating the recognition of a position at which an ROI setting should by made by including a filing apparatus to store data in plurality being overlapped by an image indicating at least one interest area in a slice image as for a spectroscoping. CONSTITUTION:A filing device 14 stores a plurality of slice images which can be retrieved using an identification number of a person to be inspected and a date of photographing as index and the slice image has an image ROI indicating an interest area overlapped therein. A filing device 15 stores a plurality of spectroscopic materials which can be retrieved using the image ROI indicating the identification number of a person to be inspected, the date of photographing and the interest area as index. A controller 16 displays a plurality of slice images on a monitor 11, for examples, from the file 14 by a command from a consol 12 or a mouse device 13. A ROI setting section 17 specifies the image ROI in the slice image displayed on the monitor 11 by a command of the consol 12 or the mouse device 13 to apply conditions for an ROI involved to a computer 10 thereby making preparations for a spectroscopic photographing automatically for the ROI involved.

    • PURPOSE:To allow an observer to well understand the change of the image of the same region corresponding to the kinetic change of the heart, by executing procedure, which performs the collection of data with respect to the same region at every predetermined interval over two heartbeats, by the number of data required in the formation of an image to obtain a data group and selecting the data of the same time phase to form a plurality of time phase images. CONSTITUTION:A computer system 11 reconstitutes the first time phase image IM1, the second time phase image IM2 and the third time phase image IM3 to apply all of them to a display system 12 and, therein, the first time phase image IM1, the second time phase image IM2 and the third time phase image IM3 are cinematically displayed. The data group reaching a contraction stage from the first, peak and last stages of a dilation stage at a predetermined interval can be obtained centering around the R-wave of the second heartbeat at every data collection unit (two-heartbeat) and data is selected at every time phase to form a plurality of time phase images and, when said data is cinematically displayed, the change of the image of the same region SI corresponding to the kinetic change of the heart is well displayed.
