摘要： PURPOSE:To easily cope with the alteration of a sheet size at a host side by outputting a video clock signal in which the number of output pulses is varied in response to the size from a printing side, and feeding a video data signal from the host side to the printing side on the basis of the clock signal. CONSTITUTION:A host system 500 feeds video data signals IVDAT1, IVDAT2 of dot image data to an interface circuit 519 on the bias of its video clock signal, etc. Thus, even if the system 500 does not calculate to alter the number of pulses and its feeding timing of the data signal so as to change the print starting position of a sheet by a 2-color LBP 199, the data signal is synchronized with the clock signal from the LBP corresponding to the sheet size and fed from the system 500 to the LBP 199. Accordingly, an increase in the program capacity in the system 500 can be suppressed, and a waiting time in case of starting a printing operation can be rapidly suppressed to a short value.

CONSTITUTION:A host system 500 feeds video data signals IVDAT1, IVDAT2 of dot image data to an interfce circuit 519 on the bias of its video clock signal, etc. Thus, even if the system 500 does not calculate to output the data signal, a horizontal synchronizing signal from a 2-color LBP 199 is synchronized as the start of one line with a video clock signal from the LBP 199, and the data signal is output from the system 500 to the LBP 199. Accordingly, the LBP 199 eliminates a delaying factor for an electrostatic latent image forming operation with a laser beam, thereby suppressing the irregularity of the recording position of a sheet.

When a motor 51 is driven in a prescribed direction, the spiral shaft 44 rotates in a prescribed direction, and the moving base 41 moves to one end side in the axis direction of the photosensitive body. By controlling the rotating direction of the motor 51, the moving base 41 can reciplocatingly move to right and left. Thus the electrifying unevenness in the direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the photosensitive body can be easily detected.
