    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect the optimum ventilation in accordance with an atmosphere and contrive the improvement of comfortable property by a method wherein the average value of detected room temperatures and the average value of set objective temperatures are obtained to send the average value data to a ventilation unit and ventilating operation is controlled in accordance with the average value data from a central controller. SOLUTION: The data of an objective temperature is sent into a supply unit 50 while average value data, such as an average indoor temperature, an average objective temperature and the like, are sent into an air-condition unit 20 of corresponding system. An operation mode, selected by an air-conditioning unit 20 having the highest order of preference, is selected as a ventilation control mode, then, average value data, such as the average indoor temperature of all rooms, the average objective temperature of all rooms, an average indoor temperature, an average outdoor air temperature and the like, as well as the data of selected operation mode are sent into an air- conditioning ventilation unit 60. The ventilating operation is controlled in accordance with the average value data while a control form is changed in accordance with the operation mode. According to this method, the optimum ventilation in accordance with an atmosphere can be effected and unnecessary indoor temperature change is eliminated whereby the comfortable property can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To permit air conditioning, efficient locally, by a method wherein the ratio of flow rate of air of both indoor fans is changed in an air-conditioning machine, in which air, sent through two indoor heat exchangers in an indoor unit, is sent out toward two directions by two sets of indoor fans. CONSTITUTION:Under an ordinary control mode, in which both of zone selecting buttons 37a, 37b are not operated in a remote controller 36, the flow rates of air of both indoor fans 18a, 18b are set at the same values to each other in accordance with the operation of the remote controller 36. When one zone selecting button 37a is operated, for example, the operation of an air- conditioning machine enters the local control mode of zone A and air volume of one of the indoor fan 18a is increased by a predetermined value over a value in accordance with the operation of the remote controller. On the other hand, air volume of the other indoor fan 18b is reduced by a predetermined value from a value in accordance with the operation of the remote controller 36. In this case, when the flow rate of air is set to 'high', for example, in the remote controller 36, power is impressed on the super high-speed tap of the in door fan motor 18a by a tap switching circuit 34a whereby the rotation of the indoor fan 18a is increased to a super high speed.

SOLUTION: A ceiling mounted type air conditioner comprises a pair of heat exchangers 10a, 10b which are arranged in a symmetrically inclined manner with respect to a center line so as to form an angle with its comer extending upwardly, two blowers 11a, 11b, a common air inlet 4 for both blowers 11a, 11b, and two air outlets 5a, 5b provided exclusively for respective blowers 11a, 11b to guide a blowing- off of heat-exchanged air produced after being exchanged by the heat exchanger 10a, 10b. The air conditioner further comprises a drain pan 16 which collects drain water which flows down along the heat exchangers 10a, 10b and sub drain pans 17 which are arranged in the same manner as the heat exchangers 10a, 10b and are overlapped to the inclined lower surfaces of the respective heat exchangers 10a, 10b with a given gap, and are provided with communication openings 41 for the heat- exchanged air, and receives the drain water dripping in the intermediate partion of its downward flow to the drain pan 16.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a substantially simultaneous reaching of each room temperature to get at each set value irrespective of a size of the rooms by a method wherein a capability controlling means is provided for controlling a cooling or heating capability in response to a total value of air conditioning loads of all rooms calculated in response to a temperature difference between a room temperature of each of the rooms and a set room temperature as well as a size of each of the rooms. CONSTITUTION:As a room temperature of each of rooms A, B and C is read by room temperature sensors 22a, 22b and 22c, it is compared with each of room temperature set values Xa, Xb and Xc, respectively. These temperature differences are applied to an indoor control device 24 and each of air volume control devices 23a, 23b and 23c, respectively. Each of air amount control devices may control a degree of opening of a damper for each of blowing grills 9a, 9b and 9c in response to these room temperature differences and further control an amount of blown air to be blown against each of the rooms A, B and C. In turn, the indoor control device 24 may read each of the temperature differences of each of the rooms and sizes Ya, Yb and Yc of each of the rooms, respectively, through each of indoor control devices 21a, 21b and 21c. It calculates each of the room temperature points and each of the room points, they are multiplied for every room and then each of the products is totaled to get a total point of an air conditioning load. This total point of air conditioning load is applied to an outdoor control device 25 as a control signal, the number of revolution of a compressor is controlled and its capability is controlled.
