    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely judge a clogged state of a filter by making an integrated value per unit time large until a predetermined period of time elapses from the start of rotation of an indoor fan, and making the integrated value small after the predetermined period of time has elapsed. SOLUTION: A multiple control unit(MCU) 33 for an indoor machine 30 integrates a time of revolution of an indoor fan 38, and estimates, when the integrated time exceeds a predetermined threshold, that a filter 48 is in a clogged state. An integrated value per unit time is made large until a predetermined period of time, for example, one hour elapses from a time when the indoor fan 38 starts to rotate. After the predetermined period of time has elapsed, the integrated value is made small. In this manner, the integrated value for estimation of clogging of the filter 48 is changed in accordance with a period of time, which elapses from the start of rotation of the indoor fan 38. Accordingly, it is possible to precisely judge a clogged state of the filter 48 in view of an amount of dust adhering to the filter 48, which varies depending upon a period of time elapsed from the start of rotation of the indoor fan 38.

When the maximum current value is set by the switch 7 together with available current of other electric device, both the other electric device 13 and an air conditioner can be used.

CONSTITUTION:In a multi-air conditioner 1, a plurality of indoor units 5 are connected to an outdoor unit 4 having a capacity variable compressor driven by an inverter 2. A temperature sensor 6 and a temperature setter 7 are provided in each unit 5. A controller 9 obtains a whole air conditioning load from the difference between the sensor 6 and the setter 7 of the unit 5, and outputs an operating command frequency to the inverter 2. Particularly, the controller 9 sets the input current limit value of the inverter 2 in response to the number of the units 5, compares the detected value detected by an input current detector 10 with the input current limit value to vary the output frequency of the inverter 2. Accordingly, compressor capacity becomes responsive to the number of the unit to reduce high or low temperature release control, thereby conducting comfortable air conditioning control.
