CONSTITUTION: When a tray 2 mounting a disc is contained in a cabinet 1, short side of a flexible wiring board 61 is raised substantially normally to the surface of a disc. Under that state, it is folded back several times in the direction Y←→Y' for inserting/drawing the tray 2 and contained in an elongated space 77 for containing the board 61 provided under the tray 2. When the tray 2 is inserted into the cabinet 1, the board 61 is guided by a guide member 60 and inserted sequentially into the space 77 and finally contained therein. This structure minimizes the containing space of the board 61, eliminates the need of increasing the thickness or depth of the tray thus reducing the overall size and thickness of the disc player.

    • PURPOSE:To stably stop a rotary electric machine by a method wherein, when the axial deflection amount of the rotary electric machine becomes larger than a threshold value, a switch operating device opens a switch, a current flowing to the rotary electric machine, a radial magnetic bearing and a thrust magnetic bearing is cut off and the rotary electric machine is touched down. CONSTITUTION:While a motor 2 is being operated, a shaft 1 is supported in a noncontact manner so as to be freely rotatable by radial magnetic bearings 4, 4 at both end parts and by a thrust magnetic bearing 6. The displacement of the magnetic bearings 4, 4, 6 is detected by sensors 5, 5, 7. When the output of the sensors 5, 5, 7 exceeds a threshold value by an external force or for some reason, a control device 8 opens a switch S1 via a switch operating device 10, the exciting current of the magnetic bearings 4, 4, 6 is cut off, a switch S2 is opened, and the driving current of the motor 2 is cut off. The shaft 1 is supported by touchdown bearings 9 at both ends and stopped. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the shaft from being damaged when it comes into contact with a fixation-side member.

    • PURPOSE:To find erroneous setting of a reference value for judging fault or erroneous application of motor easily and to prevent operation under erroneously set state by setting a rated current and a starting time in a memory circuit and automatically notifying a fact that the starting current does not match with a set value at the time of test operation. CONSTITUTION:A current detecting circuit 12 detects starting current of a motor 2 flowing into a main circuit 1 and a detection signal is fed to a comparing circuit 18. Since the starting current is approximately constant depending on the rated current of the motor 2, no signal is outputted from the comparing circuit 18 if the rated current and starting time set in a memory circuit 17 correspond to the rated values of the motor 2. When a fault judging reference value, a rated current and a starting time are set for a motor having higher rated values than an actual machine, the comparing circuit 18 provides an unmatching signal to a logic operation circuit 14 which then outputs a sound or an alarm to the outside through an outside output circuit 15 while furthermore provides a display on a display circuit 15.

CONSTITUTION:A reading means reads the information code entered on a label 8 stuck on the tape cassette 9 by performing the photoelectric transducing at the time of inserting the tape cassette 9, and delivers it to a data retrieval means and a storage means. The data retrieval means retrieves the storage means based on the identification information in the cassette 9 read by the reading means after the tape cassette 9 is inserted, and delivers the prescribed data related to the record of an inserted tape cassette 9 to the display means, and the display means displays delivered data. Meanwhile, the storage means stores the prescribed data related to the record corresponding to the identification information in the cassette 9 read at the reading means. In such a way, it is possible to automatize the management of the recording content of the tape cassette.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce processing portions requiring high accuracy with less number of components and thin profile by mounting an upper cylinder of the titled cylinder device onto a fixed shaft freely turnably via a fluid bearing with a herringborne type groove formed thereto. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve is incorporated to an upper cylinder 6 supported freely turnably via fluid bearings 3, 4 with a herringborne type groove formed to a fixed shaft 2. Thus, no sleeve is required and cost is decreased with a decreased number of components and thin profile of the cylinder device is attained. Moreover, the deflection of the outer peripheral surface of the upper cylinder 6 at driving gives no effect onto the highly accurate assembling with no adjustment only when the alignment between the outer circumferential face 6b and the bearing faces 6c, 6d is processed with high accuracy and the accurate processing of the fit part other than the bearing is not required. Thus, the cylinder device with high performance and low cost is obtained.
