    • PURPOSE:To decrease stress generated by hydraulic force of fluid by making a circumferential edge of a reactor water flowing opening at a lower part of a shroud which is provided surroundingly a reactor core, in a nuclear reactor pressure vessel, coincide with an upper edge of the opening, and by making both curvatures of the circumferential edge and a bottom plate of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel coincide approximately. CONSTITUTION:In a bottom part of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel 1, a current plate 22 of which curvature is made to the same with that of a bottom plate of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel 1, is provided at a periphery of and along the bottom plate. In this case, reactor water discharged from a pump main part 11 of an internal pump, flows into a space between the bottom plate of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel 1 and the current plate 22 through a reactor water flow opening 16, and, from that place, passes through an opening 23 of the current plate 22 to flow into a shroud 2. Accordingly, flow of the reactor water flowing into the shroud 2 becomes approximately parallel to a control rod housing 19 and a stub tube 20, and therewith working moment of hydraulic force of fluid by the flowing-in reactor water and also stress, caused by the hydraulic force of fluid, decreases.

The weight 35 has such weight as the gravity center G of whole the motor 7, the supporting part 27 and the weight 35, may correspond to a position of the gravity center of the supporting part 27. The supporting part 27 climbs up and down a motor case 6 along a screwed bar 23 when the screwed bar 23 is rotated by a motor 25 of a screwed bar driving part. In this situation, the gravity center G of whole the motor 7, the supporting part 27 and the weight 35, corresponds almost to the position of the supporting part 27 and therefore the supporting part 27 climbs up and down very stably and vibration of the motor 7 and the supporting part 27 can be substantially suppressed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a damage of an inner surface of a stretch tube by a dragging hook, by providing a position detector with which the dragging hook can detects a positioning groove carved on the stretch tube. CONSTITUTION:A handling device of a recirculation pump inserts the device 12 into a casing 4 for an internal reactor recirculation pump and moreover inserts an outer cover 9 into a stretch tube 10. In this situation, an output of a displacement meter 29 stays at a rather lower one because of a narrow distance between a dragging hook 15 and the stretch tube 10. When the displacement meter 29 comes to a position of a dragging groove 14, a distance between the dragging hook 15 and the stretch tube 10 is widened therewith an output of the displacement meter 29 rises. Moreover, when the displacement meter 29 detects a position of the positioning groove 28, the output of the displacement meter 29 rises further more. In this way, whether the dragging hook 15 and the dragging groove 14 is correctly positioned or not can be easily confirmed therewith a damage of an inner side of the stretch tube by the dragging hook 15 can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the infiltration of activated clads by providing primary sealing devices forming slight gaps with the inner peripheral face of a sleeve near the top end of a pump shaft. CONSTITUTION:The sealing device 25 in the circumferential direction forming the slight gap 24 by reacting with the top end face of the sleeve 14 is also provided to the rear surface of an impeller 12 exiting at the outflow point of purging water in a reactor pressure vessel 1. Further, the sealing device 27 forming the slight gap 26 with the tapered surface of the inside peripheral face at the top end of the sleeve 14 is also provided to the top end of the pump shaft 6. Three pieces of the slight gaps 23, 26, 24 exist in the flow passage of the purging water with such internal pump and, therefore, the flow rates of the purging water in the respective gaps increase and the infiltration of the clads near the top end of the pump shaft 6, i.e., the position furthest from a motor section 4 is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To improve workability and safety when an internal pump is operated by providing a temporary folding-type mounting stage on the side part of a working table, and providing a handling truck, on which a lift mechanism is provided, on the temporary mounting stage so that the truck can be freely moved. CONSTITUTION:A driving device 36 is operated, and a temporary mounting stage 20, which is extending to a working table 18, is raised. Thus, a stable working scaffold is secured beneath a pump casing 10 of an internal pump. The jig of a guide suitable for an auxiliary cover 16 is screwed into a screw hole on the turntable 25 at the upper part of a lift mechanism 26 of a handling truck 24. With the jig as a guide, the auxiliary cover 16 is mounted. Then, the truck 24 is moved on rails 24 and aligned with the position of a motor cover 12. A control device 28 is operated for lifting, and pressure oil is sent into a hydraulic jack 40 from a hydraulic unit 27. Then, the jack 40 lifts up the auxiliary cover 16. When the center of the auxiliary cover 16 does not agree with the center of the motor cover 12, the truck 24 is moved, or the table 25 is turned. After the attachment of the auxiliary cover 16 is finished, the mechanism 26 is lowered 28.
