    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit/receive high-quality voice by including a noise suppressor exhibiting a sufficient function even if a use setting is changed.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a signal processor includes: noise suppressing means for adaptively suppressing noise components contained in a voice signal; and encoding means for processing, by encoding process, the voice signal in which noise components are suppressed by the noise suppressing means, and generating compressed encoded voice data. The encoding means can perform a plurality of different encoding processes. The noise suppressing means suppresses noise of a signal of a frequency band encoded by the encoding means, using a different noise suppressing method according to the encoding process performed by the encoding means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device in which a noise suppressor demonstrates a sufficient function, and which transmits and receives high quality voice, even when use setting is changed. SOLUTION: A voice coding device 120 is provided with: an A system coding section 121; a B system coding section 122; and a C system coding section 123, as three circuits for coding a voice data by algorithms which are different from one another. The noise suppressor 110 is provided with: an X system noise suppressing section 111; a Y system noise suppressing section 112; and a Z system noise suppressing section 113, as three circuits for suppressing a background noise by algorithms which are different from one another. A suppression system switching control section 114 makes the optimum noise suppressing section (any one of 111, 112 or 113) operate, according to the coding section (any one of 121, 122 or 123) which functions in the voice coding device 120, on the basis of information from the coding system switching control section 124.
