    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine which can perform variable-speed driving with a high output and over a wide range, from low speed to high speed, and can realize improvement in efficiency, reliability and manufacturing performance over a wide driving range.SOLUTION: A permanent magnet type rotating electrical machine according to the present invention is comprised of a stator 1 having an armature winding 2 around stator iron core 1a and a rotor 3 having a rotor core 3a with built-in multiple permanent magnets 6 on an outer periphery thereof. This stator 1a is furnished with a stator teeth 5 sandwiched by slots 4 for wounding an armature coil 2. Also, a trench 7 is grooved in a peripheral area of d-axis of an outer peripheral part of a rotor. By using these parts, a permanent magnet type rotating electrical machine is capable of reducing iron-loss during high speed operation and suppressing a temperature increase of a rotating electrical machine.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine which enables variable-speed operation over a wide range from low speed to high speed with high output, and achieves efficiency improvement, reliability improvement and manufacturability improvement over a wide operation range.SOLUTION: A variable magnetic force magnet 5 is inserted into a magnet inserting hole provided in the center of a magnetic pole 1, and a fixed magnetic force magnet 4 is inserted into magnet inserting holes 3A, 3B disposed asymmetrically with respect to a geometrical center 5A of the variable magnetic force magnet 5. Thus, a magnetic center 1a of the magnetic pole 1 and the geometrical center 5a of the variable magnetic force magnet 5 are configured to be deviated in a circumferential direction. Further, by arranging a plurality of magnetic poles having different deviation amounts side by side in the circumferential direction or in an axial direction, harmonic waves of a voltage induced in stator winding are reduced while mitigating demagnetization of a permanent magnet, the variable magnetic force magnet 5 is irreversibly magnetized by a magnetic field created from a current of armature winding to change a total interlinked magnetic flux amount, thereby enabling variable-speed operation over a wide range with high output. At the same time, high efficiency can be obtained over a wide operation range.

The short-circuiting coil 8 is constituted, by coating or disposing a conductive material to a surface, in parallel with the center line of the axis of rotation on four side faces, in parallel with a magnetization direction of the variable magnetic force magnet 3, by coating or disposing a conductive material to all the surfaces of the fixed magnetic force magnet of the fixed magnetic force magnet 4, and a side face in parallel with the magnetization direction, or a surface in parallel with the center line of the axis of rotation out of four side faces, in parallel with the magnetization direction, and by connecting conductive materials of the variable magnetic force magnet and the fixed magnetic force magnet. Thus, a magnetic field (leakage magnetic field) A3 acting on the fixed magnetic force magnet and an outer peripheral side of the q axis can be offset.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly magnetize the upper and lower layers and intermediate layer of a variable magnetic-force magnet.
      SOLUTION: A rotor 1 is composed of a rotor core 2, the variable magnetic-force magnets 3 and fixed magnetic-force magnets 4. The variable magnetic-force magnets 3 are configured by superposing magnet variable magnetic-force magnets 3a and 3c having a strong coercive force and the variable magnetic-force magnets 3b having a weak coercive force in the direction of magnetization of each magnet. The magnets superposed in series are arranged in the rotor core 2 at positions where the direction of magnetization is the d-axis direction. The fixed magnetic-force magnets 4 and 4 are arranged at positions where the direction of magnetization is the d-axis direction on both sides of the magnets superposing the variable magnetic-force magnets 3 and the fixed magnetic-force magnets 4a in series. When the interlinking magnetic flux of the variable magnetic-force magnets 3 is reduced, a magnetic field in the direction opposite to the direction of magnetization of the variable magnetic-force magnets 3 is worked by a current in an armature winding. Since the intermediate layer receiving a comparatively weak magnetic field in the variable magnetic-force magnets 3 is composed of the variable magnetic-force magnets 3b having the weak coercive force, the whole of the variable magnetic-force magnets 3 is magnetized uniformly.
