    • PURPOSE:To uniform the temperature distribution of the dead-end hole part of an outer casing by forming an annular steam passage between the annular slant face of a steam connecting pipe and the annular slant face of a snap ring so as to lead steam, leaking from rings, rapidly to the inlet of the dead-end hole. CONSTITUTION:Inlet steam flowing in from a steam inlet pipe 3 installed at an outer casing 1 is led into an inner casing 2 through a steam connecting pipe 4. Plural rings 8 are installed at the end part of the steam connecting pipe 4 so as to serve to prevent steam in the steam inlet pipe 3 and steam connecting pipe 4 from leaking outside of the pipe. Steam filled between the outer and inner casings 1, 2 flows to a dead-end hole 9 existing at a joint part between the outer casing 1 and the steam inlet pipe 3. An annular steam passage 12 is formed between the steam connecting pipe 4 and the snap ring 8c of a ring group 8. In this annular steam passage 12, steam flows in the direction of going away from the dead-end hole 9. The generation of local thermal stress can be thus relieved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out a damage on a blade and the like in an early stage by calculating a compressor efficiency, calculating a reduced efficiency by a correction efficiency found out from a compressor inlet temperature in a rated condition and a correction efficiency found out from an inlet guide blade opening in the rated condition, and monitoring the reduced efficiency. SOLUTION: In an efficiency monitor of a compressor, a compressor efficiency ηreal is calculated from a compressor pressure ratio, a compressor delivery temperature, a compressor inlet temperature CTIM, and a specific heat ratio of an operating fluid. The compressor efficiency is reduced to a rated condition by ηconv =ηreal -ΔηCTIM-ΔηIGV ηconv is a reduced efficiency, ΔηCTIM is a correction efficiency by an IGV opening. In a monitor device, the ηconv reduced in the rated condition is monitored, and it is judged that a moving blade of the compressor or a part of a stationary blade is broken when the value is reduced more than a setting value. It is thus possible to find out a damage on a blade and the like of a compressor automatically and precisely.

    • PURPOSE:To provide effects of vibration reduction and damping under all the operating-conditions to a blade, to prevent generation of large vibration of the blade, and to improve reliability of the blade by bringing contact surfaces of a snubber structure provided at the tip end and so on of the blade into contact with each other all the time under all the operating conditions. CONSTITUTION:A snubber structure of a blade 1 as the structure having effects of vibration reduction and damping is provided, in the state that the blade 1 is incorporated into a shaft 2, so that projections 3 at the tip ends of the adjoining blades 1 are brought into contact with each other during rotation. In this case, a snubber pitch 10 of the blade 1 is set larger than a geometric pitch acquired from a snubber diameter in assembly, that is, pi X (diameter of a snubber in assembly)/(total circumferential number of blades). And in assembly, the adjoining blades 1 are brought into contact with each other at first as shown by the solid line. Then, the snubbers are strongly brought into contact and the blades 1 are distorted so as to assemble them as shown by the dotted line. Also, the torsional direction is made opposite to the torsion returning direction of the blade 1 caused by the centrifugal force so as to maintain contact surface pressure constant regardless of the rotation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by making a form of a thermocouple protecting cylinder to be streamline-shaped along a gas flow, so that the thermocouple protecting cylinder and a thermocouple are prevented from being broken. SOLUTION: A thermocouple protecting cylinder 20 is fixed by welding to an exhaust diffuser outer cylinder 5 by one end of it. At this time, the protecting cylinder 20 is fixed with an attaching washer 11 in between so that its attachment strength and attachment accuracy are raised. A cross section of the protecting cylinder 20 is shaped into a streamline shape, and a resistance force from a fluid is small, so that a vibration generated in the protecting cylinder 20 is reduced. As a result, a stress acting upon a thermocouple 8 and an attaching part io the protecting cylinder 2 is reduced, so that reliability of an exhaust gas temperature measuring device 7 is significantly improved even over a long- term use. In short, the resistance force applied by exhaust has is reduced, and the vibration of protecting cylinder 20 is suppressed, so that the protecting cylinder 20 and the thermocouple 8 are prevented from being broken.
