CONSTITUTION:In a counterflow type reheat turbine in which a high-pressure turbine 16 and an intermediate-pressure turbine 17 are enclosed in one casing, a cooling steam control valve 22 is provided in the midway of a cooling steam extraction pipe 21 connecting a cooling steam extraction port 20 of the high- pressure turbine 16 and the intermediate-pressure turbine 17. Further, a load detector 24 is provided to a generator 19, and a function generator 25 is provided between the load detector 24 and the control valve 22. And when the load decreases below a prescribed value, the control valve 22 is opened by the signal of the function generator 25 in response to the load to cool the embedded parts of high-temperature stage blades and the root part of the rotor of the turbine.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent self-excited oscillation by providing communication between fins of first line and second line located upstream from a stationary part outside range by means of a plurality of transmission holes degined to have a prescribed angle to the tangential line of a rotor, forcing bleed steam to pass through the transmission holes, and making bleed steam to flow-in between the fins in the direction opposite to turning flow around the rotor. CONSTITUTION:Seal fins 21 are implanted along a seal ring 22, and the top ends thereof are extended toward a rotor 1. A chamber 24 formed between the first line and the second line of the seal fin 21 and the outer side range of the seal ring 22 are communicated with each other through at least four transmission holes 25. Turning flow shown by an arrow W is generated in the chamber 24 by means of rotation of the rotor 1 in T direction, but when bleed steam bled in the outside range of the seal ring 22 is passed through transmission holes 25 and then it flows in direction shown by an arrow Wb, turning flow in the direction shown by the arrow W collides with the abovementioned flow, and moving component in rotational direction is lost so as to form pressure distribution in which only pressure downward in vertical direction makes it action. Therefore, excited oscillation force in a turbine shaft system is not added so as to stabilize an axial system.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a steam turbine while ensuring the stability of a turbine shaft by selecting the start point of a partial feeding nozzle on each stage such that a steam force acting on each stage is applied downward to a turbine shaft bearing. CONSTITUTION:In a turbine shaft 1 are planted a first governor stage blade 2 and second to fourth governor stage blades 3-5 on the subsequent governor stages. At the fixed side of a casing 6 for journalling the turbine shaft 1 are provided respectively first to fifth governor stage nozzles 7-10 opposed to the respective governor stage blades 2-5. Then, the position of start point 8t of the second governor stage nozzle 8 is selected at the right side as viewed from the front of the turbine shaft 1 so that a governor stage valve force F1, dead weight F2 of a rotor and the resultant force of second to fourth governor stage steam forces F3, F4, F5 are directed downward.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage from a seal part clearance by measuring the clearance value and moving a fin-segment in the radial direction, based on the clearance value. CONSTITUTION:An arc-shaped fin-segment 8 is attached to an installation groove 6 of a nozzle outer ring 3. A seal fin 7, which extends toward the peripheral direction, is installed in a projected manner at the inner surface of the fin- segment 8. In addition, a bellows 11 is interposed between the inner surface of the installation groove 6 and the fin-segment 8. A conduit 12 for the working fluid is connected to the bellows 11, while a valve 14 is provided to the conduit 12. The clearance at the seal part is measured by using an electromagnetic gap sensor, and based on this clearance value the valve 14 is controlled, thereby moving the fin-segment in the radial direction. With this contrivance, the clearance can be adjusted so as to reduce the leakage.

    • PURPOSE:To keep the temperature of the high temperature stage of a reheat turbine within an allowable limit by providing two cooling steam outlet ports at different stages of a high pressure turbine, and introducing the steam extracted from the upstream side stage into the reheat turbine as cooling steam in a low load region. CONSTITUTION:When the load decreases below a prescribed value, a cooling steam control valve 31a closes fully and 31b opens in response to the signals from function generators 34a and 34b. Thus, cooling steam extracted from a steam outlet port 30b is introduced into an introducing pipe 9, and is mixed with a part of reheat steam in the mixing chamber of a reheat turbine. The steam outlet port 30b is provided on the upstream side stage of 30a and, since the steam pressure is higher than that from the steam outlet port 30a, the flow rate of reheat steam flowing into the mixing chamber is suppressed. Accordingly, the temperature of cooling steam flowing from the mixing chamber is kept within a proper range, and the rotor, nozzle diaphragm an the embedded part of blades at the high temperature stage of a reheat turbine are cooled to a proper temperature.

CONSTITUTION: An erosion preventing device is provided with an outer peripheral wall 1 forming an annular passage, which is enlarged toward the downstream in the direction of a turbine shaft, a plurality of nozzle blades 4, which are arranged at a certain interval along the circumferential direction on the inner surface side of this outer peripheral wall 1, and a moving blade 5, which is arranged on the rear stage side of this nozzle blade 4 and actuated by the wet steam that is supplied to the annular passage. In addition, a water-droplet- flow regulating means is prepared, which restricts the position in the radial direction of a water droplet, which flows from the outer peripheral surface wall 1 along the nozzle blade surface because of the secondary flow and which is blown off a nozzle rear edge 11.
