    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suck a scattered toner without pulluting a machine body and to form a good image by providing a developer sucking device having a sucking wind velocity controller for changing the sucking velocity in a development state and in a nondevelopment state on a developing device. SOLUTION: This device 100 is provided with a developer feed roller 3a feeding a developer to a developing roller 1, a stirring roller 3b, a slit 5 provided below the developing roller 1 as a suction port, a sucking duct 4 provided below a developer casing 7 from the slit 5, and a sucking device having a toner filter 14, an ozone filter 13 and a sucking fan 12 provided in sequence at the end section of the sucking duct 4. The motor of the sucking fan 12 and a motor drive circuit are connected to a controller controlling the voltages impressed to various sections. When the fan voltage impressed to the sucking fan 12 is controlled, the sucking wind velocity is changed in a development state and in a nondevelopment state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of letter scattering phenomenon and middle missing phenomenon and to enhance display definition by installing means such as a constant voltage power source for impressing a voltage to a charge imparting means and a control means for controlling the constant voltage power source so that the appropriate voltage may be impressed on the charge imparting means in accordance with the thickness of a transferred body. SOLUTION: As for the input of a controller 37 for controlling a laser exposure system copying device, the measurement results from a current monitoring device 38 which is arranged between a constant voltage transformer 36a and a transfer roller 32 and for measuring the current value flowing into the transfer roller 32 are inputted. The thickness of the sheet paper P passing through the transfer roller 32 is judged by the controller 37 in accordance with the current value inputted from the current monitoring device 38. And, the appropriate impressing voltage value is set through a ROM 40 by the controller 37 in accordance with the current value from the device 38, then, the voltage adjuster 36b is controlled by the controller 37, and the voltage impressed by the constant voltage transfer 36a is switched. Thus, the appropriate voltage is impressed on the transfer roller 32 by the constant voltage power source 36.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device forming a stabilized image without having white void by reducing toner consumption by recycling toner. SOLUTION: Voltage having a reverse polarity to normal developing bias voltage is applied to the developing roller 14a of a developing device 14, so that toner agglomerate incorporated in the toner recycled by a toner recycling mechanism 20 and coarse particles are surely separated from the developing roller 14a. The toner agglomerate and the coarse particles increased in terms of acceleration with the increase of the number of times of image-forming are removed from the developing roller 14a as the time of making the voltage having the reverse polarity from the developing bias voltage applied to the developing device 14 is extended. Thus, the white void caused when an electrostatic latent image is repeatedly developed by recycling the toner by the toner recycling mechanism is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To perform excellent printing without the omission of a line or a character by impressing the AC transfer bias of a proper frequency which satisfies a specified condition on a transfer means. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic latent image is formed on a selenic photosensitive drum 1 by an exposing means. Normal developing with toner is performed by a two-component developing device 3 so as to develop the electrostatic latent image. The toner has a positive polarity and the toner image is carried to a transfer area with the rotation of the drum 1. A transfer material 4 is stocked in a cassette 5, inserted in the transfer area which is formed by the photosensitive drum 1 and a transfer roller 12 by an aligning roller 6, and the toner image is transferred to the transfer material 4 by the transfer roller. The AC bias which satisfies the following condition and biased to be positive is impressed on the driving shaft of the roller 12. Ft =20, provided that Fe(Hz) denotes the frequency of the AC bias, d(mm) denotes a nip width formed by the transfer means and the image carrier, and V(mm/sec) denotes the moving speed of the image carrier. By impressing the AC bias, the floccuration of the toner in the transfer nip is prevented and the high-quality printing without the omission of the character or the line is performed.
