    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the irregularity of an individual with high accuracy by providing a first electrode group arranged into an array shape and a second electrode group connected to individual electrodes of it on a substrate detecting irregularities such as the fingerprint of a human being as the difference of electrostatic capacity, and providing an insulating layer on the second electrode group. SOLUTION: A finger 12 is pressed to an insulator film 9 to detect a fingerprint which is irregular data. An analog switch 3 is switched in the longitudinal direction of the finger 12 by the output of a timing pulse generator 5, and the outputs of an oscillator 4 are connected to individual electrodes 1a, 1b in sequence. The outputs of the output electrodes 1a, 1b are received by input electrodes 2a, 2b connected to the output electrodes 1a, 1b by an anisotropic conductive film 10, the potential difference generated between both ends of a terminal resistor 8 is detected by a detecting circuit 6, and the output signal is inputted to a controller 13 via an A/D converter 7. The controller 13 compares and collates the inputted signal on the feature of the finger 12 with the feature information of the finger 12 stored in a memory section in advance for individual authentication.

    • PURPOSE:To adjust the swing-and-tilt of a photographed image by making a tilt of image pickup elements variable, and by providing piezo-actuators which adjust the angle of a image pickup plane of the image pickup elements with respect to an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:Optical information enters into an image pickup element 2 through a lens system 1 and forms an image. The image pickup element 2 is supported by piezo-bimorphs (actuator) 3a and 3b at the upper and lower end sides. The piezo-bimorphs 3a and 3b are formed by sticking two piezo plates with an electrode inserted into them, and in addition, other electrodes are formed outside the respecive piezo plates so that they may warp by applying voltage between the outer electrodes and the inserted inner electrode. When voltage is not applied to the piezo-bimorphs 3a and 3b, an image pickup plane of the image pickup elements 2 is set so as to be perpendicular to an optical axis. In this state, if voltage is applied to the piezo-bimorphs 3a and 3b, the piezo-bimorphs 3a and 3b warp, and the image pickup element 2 does rotary motion and is tilted by angle theta with respect to the optical axis.
