    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing apparatus for a fuel reformer in which a source fuel gas to be supplied to a fuel reformer can be uniformly mixed with steam in fuel reforming using steam. SOLUTION: The mixing apparatus for the fuel reformer comprises: a diameter-reduced pipe 22 which is coaxially connected to a main pipe 21 and which has the cross-section area gradually reduced along the direction of the flow; a throat pipe 23 comprising a parallel pipe coaxially connected to the other end of the diameter-reduced pipe 22; and an expanded pipe 24 which is coaxially connected to the other end of the throat pipe 23 and which has the cross-sectional area gradually increasing along the flow direction and has the other end connected to the main pipe 21. A source fuel gas supply pipe 25 to supply the source fuel gas FG into the throat pipe 23 is connected to the side wall of the throat pipe 23. By increasing the flow rate of steam ST in the throat pipe 23 and mixing with the source fuel gas FG in the throat pipe 23, mixing can be accelerated and a uniformly mixed gas can be obtained.
