摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a polyester, a polyolefin and a specific compatibilizer, excellent in mechanical, thermal, surface and circumferential characteristics because of excellent compatibility of the polyester with the polyolefin. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains (A) 0.1-99wt.% polyester (preferably polyethylene terephthalate), (B) 0.1-99wt.% polyolefin (preferably propylene homopolymer) and (C) 0.01-99wt.% terminal-modified polypropylene having a structure of formula I [R is H or CH3 ; X is a halogen; n is average 0.1-500]. Furthermore, the component C is preferably obtained by subjecting propylene to living polymerization in the presence of a catalyst comprising a vanadium compound of formula II (R to R are each H or a 1-8C hydrocarbon, with the proviso that at least one of R to R is H, but all groups thereof are not H) and an organoaluminum compound and then reacting the resultant living polypropylene with a (meth)acrylic halide of formula III.

摘要： PURPOSE:To modify PP or an ethylene/propylene random copolymer only at terminals thereof with prim. amino groups by incorporating specific substituents at the terminals. CONSTITUTION:Propylene or a mixture of propylene and ethylene is (co) polymerized in the presence of a catalyst comprising a vanadium compound represented by formula I wherein R to R each is H or a 1-8C hydrocarbon group, provided that at least one, but not all; of R to R is H and an organoaluminum compound to obtain a living PP or a living ethylene/propylene random copolymer each having a number-average mol.wt. of 500-500,000 and a mol.wt. distribution of 1.05-1.40. This polymer is reacted with (meth)acryloyl chloride represented by formula II wherein R is H or methyl at -100 to 150 deg.C for 5min to 50hr to modify the polymer only at terminals thereof with substituents represented by formula III wherein m is 2-6.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a nearly monodisperse polyolefin whose terminals are each modified with a (meth) acryloyl chloride unit by reacting a living polypropylene or ethylene/ propylene random copolymer obtained by using a specified polymerization catalyst with (meth) acryloyl chloride. CONSTITUTION:Propylene is homopolymerized in the presence of a polymerization catalyst comprising 1mol of a vanadium compound of the general formula (wherein R to R are each H or a 1-8 C hydrocarbon group, provided that not all of them are H atoms at the same time) and 1-1000mol of an organoaluminum compound to obtain a nearly monodisperse living polypropylene of a number-average molecular weight of 500-500000, or ethylene is copolymerized with propylene in the presence of the above catalyst to obtain a nearly monodisperse living ethylene/propylene random copolymer having the same number-average molecular weight (in terms of propylene). This polymer or copolymer is reacted with (meth) acryloyl chloride at -10 to 50 deg.C and precipitated from an aprotic organic solvent (e.g. acetone).

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst for polymerization of alpha-olefin which does not contain any aromatics forming noxious substances and can give a stereoregular poly-alpha-olefin in high yields by combining a specified solid catalyst component with a specified organometallic compound and a specified organosilicon compound. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst is obtained by combining a solid catalyst component essentially consisting of a metal oxide, magnesium, titanium, halogen and an electron-donating compound with an organometallic compound (desirably an organoaluminum compound) and an organosilicon compound of the formula [wherein R is a 3-10 C aliphatic or alicyclic hydrocarbon group; R is a 1-10 C aliphatic or alicyclic hydrocarbon group or [R O (wherein R is R ); R is CH3 or C2H5; x is 1 or 2; y is O or 1; z is 2 or 3; and x+y+z=4]. This catalyst permits the production of a highly stereoregular poly-alpha-olefin in high yields, does not form noxious substances which might form when an organosilicon compound containing aromatic groups is used, and can exhibit catalytic performances such as polymerization activity and stereoregular polymerization activity at least equivalent to those of such a catalyst.
