    • PURPOSE:To enlarge the diameter of the track of a small curvature together with rectilinear propagation by inserting a sharply formed leading body into the ready-set track of a concrete block for power wiring, and by propelling a bit rotationally via a plurality of short pipes fitted bendably. CONSTITUTION:One end of a leading body 14 having a spherical tip section 14A and leading in a ready-set track is pivotally supported on a bit 16 having the outer diameter of a specified degree larger than the outer diameter of the leading body 14. After that, short pipes 18A, 18B are bendably fitted in order on the rear side of the bearing body of a starting bit 29 with a propelling machine 20, a hydraulic device 22, and an operating board 24 arranged in the interior section of the bit 29. Then, the leading body 14 is inserted into the track formed in a concrete block and is propelled, and from a compressor 28 to an air motor in a device 13, compressed air is fed, and the bit 16 is rotated. Besides, the short pipes 18A, 18B are additionally jointed and at the same time, by the propelling machine 20, the track is excavated, and diameter enlarging work is executed. Accordingly, even on the track of a small curvature, the diameter enlarging work can be executed.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the straight advancing property of a propulsion device by providing an outer pipe which propels in the axial direction with its sharpened front end section, a high-pressure liquid injection nozzle and a bit at the eccentric position of the outer pipe, an inner pipe having a closed front end, a high-pressure liquid flow passage, and targets at the front end of the inner pipe. CONSTITUTION: A propulsion device is provided with an outer pipe 22 which has a sharpened front end section and can propel in the axial direction by rotating around its axial line, a nozzle 26 which is provided at the eccentric position of the front end section and jets a high-pressure liquid, and a bit 28 which is attached to the front end section of the outer pipe 22. The device is also provided with an inner pipe 30 which is coaxially provided in the outer pipe 22, has a closed front end, and is fixed to the pipe 22; a flow passage 40 which is formed between the inner and outer pipes 30 and 22 for leading the high-pressure liquid to the nozzle 26, and targets 32 and 34 which detect the bias of a small-diameter pipe and the position of the nozzle 26 at the front end of the inner pipe 30. Therefore, the diameter of the propulsion pipe of the propulsion device can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily carryout an advanced excavation and a deflection excavation such as curving or turning to another direction and so on by providing an inner pipe having an expansion pit into an outer pipe formed a bend shoe on the tip thereof and changing an excavation diameter of the expansion pit to make the advanced excavation or the deflection excavation. CONSTITUTION:An expansion pit 21 is coupled with a tooth 22 which is energized outward by a spring to a body 28 loosely fitted and connected to the tip of an inner pipe 26, and it is so formed along a bend shoe 27 (B) that it is capable of bending. An oscillation coil 38 is provided into the inner pipe 26, and the magnetic field produced is caught by a receiving section 39 on the ground. Then, the water poured into the inner pipe 26 from the rear end thereof is spouted from the pit 21 toward excavated face, and excavated earth is discharged from a gap between the inner pipe 26 and an outer pipe 27. In case of the advanced excavation, the diameter of the pit 21 is enlarged, in case of the deflection excavation, retreating into the pit 21, and the diameter of the tooth 22 is reduced to make the deflection excavation. Accordingly, the direction efficiency can be promoted according to layers.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain an arcuate thrust apparatus that advances along a predetermined track by rendering an inner and outer pipe pliable in its joint parts, and measuring the deflection of a target and the distortional angle of the outer pipe to thereby control the direction of a movable shoe. CONSTITUTION: An inner pipe 30 with a bit fastened at its distal end and an outer pipe 20 including a leading pipe 10 provided with a movable shoe 16 are rendered pliable in respective joint parts 32 and 40. On the other hand, a bore center measuring device 50 is set within the outer pipe 20 in order to measure the deflection of a target and the distortional angle before being displayed on an operational stand of the apparatus. By the value, a direction of the movable shoe 16 is controlled through the operation of a directional correction cylinder 14, so that its advancing operation can be performed along a predetermined track. As such, an excavation of small radius of curvature becomes possible in sharp curves, and construction costs can be reduced greatly.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent non excavated part between horizontal multiple axes excavator drum cutter from generating.
      SOLUTION: A drum 2 is divided into a main drum 21 and a sub drum 22 and the sub drum 22 is supported by a collar 23 having a circular curved face so that the sub drum 22 can rotate in the inclined condition against the driving axis 41. The sub drum 22 is kept in the inclined condition by providing a guide frame 51 having a semiarcuate shape at the side face of the sub drum 22 and increasing the thickness toward the upper part. The main drum 21 is rotated by putting the connection pin 26 provide on the surface of the collar 23 into a groove 25 provided in the inside face of the sub drum 23. The rotary axis of the sub drum 22 is slant and, a space where the driving system members are installed can be secured in the upper part of the drum and as in the under part of the drum, excavating tooth 3 can be arranged so as to be able to overlap, unexcavated space between the drums is not brought.
