    • PURPOSE:To grasp the state of access at a destination of mail that a sender transmits by counting the frequency of a request to refer to the received mail access state and transferring the received mail state to a sending origin when the frequency increases above a specified value. CONSTITUTION:Transmitted mail inputted from mail terminals 41-48 by an operator is written in a mailbox 11 through a mailbox control part 21 to form a transmitted mail list. At the same time, this transmitted mail is sent to another mailbox control part 22 through a communication circuit 31. This mail is transmitted to another mailbox control part 23 and when the transmission destination name of the receiving mailbox coincides with some name under the control of the control part 22, the received mail is written in the mailbox 11 as the received mail list. When a transmission side refers to the access state of the transmitted mail on a reception side, a receiving side control part counts for every individual the frequency of a request to refer and when the counted value reaches the specified value, the received mail state is transmitted to the sending origin.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate an increase in the amount of unnecessary storage and a temporary increase in traffic on the whole electronic mail system by transferring a communication document which is addressed to plural destinations successively to respective information processors. CONSTITUTION:A communication document received by an information processor with some address number is supplied to a reception decision part 512 to decide whether the amount of the storage of a storage device 503 is less than a specified value or not. When the amount is less than a specified value, the communication document is sent to a time setting part 513 and stored in the storage device 503; when the amount exceeds the specified value, a flag is set to a state BUSY and then the communication document is sent to a transmission destination setting part 514. The communication document stored in the device 503 is outputted to a terminal through an I/O control part 519 for terminals. A control part 15, on the other hand, operates a time setting part 517 periodically to set a next information processor through the transmission setting part 514 for all communication documents which are addressed to plural destinations in the device 503 when the difference between the reception time and current time is longer than specified time.

    • PURPOSE:To specify the upper, lower and coordinate concepts included in a specified key word by the movement of a cursor on the screen of a terminal by providing a means for storing words hierarchically at every concept and a key word specifying device. CONSTITUTION:Words are hierarchically stored in a word memory device 110 at every concept and each word is retrieved on the basis of the concept or the concept is retrieved from the word. At the retrieval of a word, a key word is specified by the key word specifying device 120 at first, and then the concept code of the key word is retrieved through the device 110. In this case, any one of upper, lower and coordinate concepts is selected on the basis of the movement of the cursor. Namely, a word having the concept code of upper concept at the upper movement of the cursor, the concept code of lower concept at the lower movement or the concept code of coordinate concept at the right or left movement is tested by the device 110 and the tested result is displayed on a display device 130. Consequently, a retrieval condition can be easily specified and a practical effect can be improved.
