    • PURPOSE:To prevent torsion of a blank tube and to obtain a highly accurate cylindrical body by chucking the blank tube fitted to a mandrel and spinning the mandrel and the blank tube while rotating them at different speeds. CONSTITUTION:The blank tube 12 which is an object to be worked is fitted to the leading end part of the mandrel 11 and one end part of the blank tube 12 is chucked by a blank tube chuck 13 concentrically rotating the mandrel 11. The mandrel 11 and the chuck 11 are rotated by a driving means or differential means which are prepared independently each other. Plural rollers 14 are arranged on the external periphery of the mandrel 11 at equal intervals in the peripheral direction and these rollers rotate in the reverse direction against the mandrel 11 and also move in the axial direction of the mandrel 11 to iron the mandrel 11. Since the blank tube 12 rotates at a higher speed than the mandrel 11, the torsion of the blank tube 12 is compensated.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a high-precision thin tube body with uniform thickness in a spinning forming method, by detecting the deviated thickness pattern of a tube body to be worked from a working force applied to a working roller, and thus controlling the torque of a roller driving motor. CONSTITUTION:A thick cylindrical workpiece 2 is rotated by being fitted to a mandrel 1, and while a motor 5 is rotated,it is allowed to abut on the work piece 2 from one end to start spinning formation. At this time, the pattern output of a load cell 13 which detects a working force applied to the roller 4 due to variation in the thickness of the workpiece 2 is supplied to an arithmetic device 14 and processed according to a preset arithmetic program to supply the output to a torque controller 15. On the basis of this input, the torque of the motor 5 is controlled to regulate the draft of the roller 4, thus obtaining a thin tube body 7 which is free of deviated thickness and has uniform thickness.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the yield of the blank, and to manufacture the high quality bellows with uniform wall thickness, by detecting the elongative strain generated in the pipe blank's ?outer circumferential surface, at impressing the internal pressure by the hydraulic medium on the pipe blank arranged in the main body of the segmental die, and by increasing the axial force of the die's main body after this elongative strain reaches at the desired value. CONSTITUTION:The die segments 3... are parallelly arranged between the end plates 2, 2, placing a constant interval from each other; in thus constituted die's main body 1, the pipe blank 8 is held and its both end openings are attached to the inner faces of the end plates 2, 2. Under this condition, the axial forces 11, 11, are gradually increased by the transfer mechanism; during this pressure increasing period, the hydraulic medium is supplied from the fluid feed port 9; hereby, the internal pressure is impressed on the inner circumferential surface of the pipe blank 8, and the parts of the pipe blank 8 opposing to the valley 6 of the die segments 3... expand outward, and an elongative strain is generated in the inner circumferential direction. On the other hand, the distance between the marks (a), (b), previously marked in the outer surface of the pipe blank 8, is detected by the noncontact type displacement meter 10, so that if above elongative strain value reaches the desired value, this signal is sent to the transfer mechanism to increase the axial force. Hereby, the outer surface of the pipe blank is pressed tight against the inner circumferential surface of the mountain 5 and the valley 6 of the through hole 4, and the bellows 12 possessing corrugations 12a is formed.

    • PURPOSE:To provide bellows improved in the strength against the external pressure by providing a female mold forming a flat part at a part of a corrugated part, thinning a split mold in the vicinity of the female mold and making the waveform pitch in the periphery of the flat part small. CONSTITUTION:Split molds 3a-3i parallelly provided between end plates 2 and 2 are mutually separated, and each of split molds is divided into two parts to open the upper part of the main body 1 of the metal mold. Then, a tube 11 is accommodated in the metal mold mainbody 1, and both ends of the tube are bonded to the inner surfaces of the end plates 2 and 2, and thereafter the split molds 3a-3i are blocked. In this state, air is supplied in the tube 11 through an air supply port 12, and the end plates 2 and 2 are pressed in the arrow direction. The interval of the split molds 3a-3i is narrowed and bonded together. A female mold 7 is accommodated in the escaping parts 8 and 8 of the split molds 3d and 3f. As a result, bellows 13 having a flat part 13b at a part of the corrugated part 13a are formed, and a narrow corrugated part 13c is molded.

The mandrel moving mechanism 17 of the pantagraph mechanism moves the mandrels 16a, 16b, being linked with movement of the axial force body 13, and the mold moving mechanism 18 moves the female dies 15a-15c in the same way. And the faces corresponding to the mandrels 16a, 16b are not deformed but desired overhang parts are molded on the faces corresponding to the female dies 15a-15c.

In this state, when a molding piece moving mechanism 19 is operated, the die piece 12 and the molding roller 4 are rotated one turn, so that the bulged part 23 is extended circumferentially to form a turn of bellows having a prescribed height.

    • PURPOSE:To bend a material to be worked without buckling both sides, by applying different tensions to both ends of this material where the channel- shaped section is changed continuously along the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:The approximate center in the longitudinal direction of a material 1 to be worked which has a channel-shaped section and bas the form of this section changed continuously is held between a bending jig 4 and press material 5. The jig 4 is formed to a shape like a flat roller, and the thickness in the direction of the diameter is tapered in accordance with the variance of breadthwise dimensions of the material 1. A constant tensile stress per a unit sectional area is applied to both end parts of the material 1 through chucks 7 and 8 which hold both ends of the material 1 between themselves. Simultaneously, chucks 7 and 8 are driven in directions of arrows (a) and (b) by respective driving sources 9 and 10 to apply a bending stress to the material 1. Thus, since the material 1 held between holding faces 4a and 5a of the jig 4 and the press material 5 is not slipped, the mateial 1 is bent well without creases due to buckling in both sides 3 and 3.
