    • PURPOSE:To easily perform the detection of leakage without prepurge every ignition by connecting a pressure detecting means and a pressure increasing means capable of pressurization higher than gas supply pressure between shut-off valves in upstream side and downstream side of the gas supply pipe and reversely joining the primary side and the secondary side of upstream side shut-off valves each other. CONSTITUTION:In the case where shut-off valves 3a, 3b are closed and a burner 6 is extinguished, a pressure increasing means 4 is actuated and the space between the shut-off valves 3a, 3b is pressurized up to the prescribed pressure higher than gas supply pressure. When at this time leakage is produced from the shut-off valves 3a, 3b, the pressure in the space 7 is gradually decreased as time passes. Therefore, existence of leakage of the shut-off valves 3a, 3b can be found by detecting the change of the pressure in the space 7 by a pressure detecting means 5. The mechanism is formed without performing ignition operation if leakage is detected. Thus, prepurge in a furnace 8 need not be performed every ignition during temperature regulation and the like. Here, since the primary side (p) and the secondary side (s) of the shut-off valve 3a are reversely connected each other and pressure difference between the pressure in the space 7 and the gas supply pressure is positively applied on the shut-off valve 3a, only leakage can surely be detected.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform, for sure at all times the inspection of an isolation valve for the leak in it by performing setting of pressure setting means after a specified time has passed from the motion of closing the isolation valve. CONSTITUTION:The setting for a pressure setting device 2 which is provided between isolation valves 1a and 1b on the upstream side and downstream side respectively is performed after a specified time length has passed from closing the isolation valves 1a and 1b. When the fire of a burner 5 is to be extinguished, the isolation valves 1a and 1b are closed, and then after a specified time length has passed, the pressure setting device 2 is operated and the pressure in the space 4 between the isolation valves 1a and 1b is set at pressure which is different from the pressure in supplying gas. When there is a gas leak in either of the valves 1a and 1b, the gas pressure in the space 4 rises or falls with the elapse of time. Accordingly, by detecting the pressure in the space 4 after a specified time has passed from operating the pressure setting device 2 by a pressure detection device 3, it is possible to detect the presence of leak in the isolation valves 1a and 1b by judging if there is a change of pressure more than specified.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the pressure detecting device which can securely and easily detect whether or not there is a gas leak by providing an intake for introducing gas whose pressure is to be detected to a gas introducing chamber, a pressure sensor which varies its output when the pressure of the introduced gas reaches previously set pressure, etc. CONSTITUTION:The gas whose pressure is to be detected is charged in the gas introducing chamber 15 of the pressure detecting device 14 through the intake 16 for the gas to the previously set pressure and the capacity of the introducing chamber 15 is varied with a previously set driving force through the driving of the actuator 18 of a capacity varying device. Then the pressure in the introducing chamber 15 increases and the pressure sensor 17 outputs pressure variation corresponding to the capacity variation, thereby securely detecting the charged gas being in an airtight state without any leak. If there is a gas leak, the output of the pressure sensor 17 does not vary even when the capacity of the chamber 15 is varied, so the gas leak can be easily detected. Then this operation can be utilized effectively as a leak checker for gas by connecting the gas intake of the device to a gas supply path.

    • PURPOSE:To easily detect whether or not there is a leakage of the dual cut-off valve by connecting a pressure raising means capable of raising pressure higher than a gas supply pressure and a pressure detecting means between upstream and downstream cut-off valves. CONSTITUTION:Pressure raising means 2 and pressure detecting means 3 are connected between upstream and downstream cut-off valves 1a and 1b. When the fire of a burner 4 is extinguished, an actuator 12 is operated to raise the pressure within a space 5 by a diaphragm 11. Pressure detecting means 3 sets a value lower than the pressure at the time of raising the pressure by approximately 50mm H2O as a set pressure. When the pressure is higher than the set value, the pressure detecting means 3 is turned on, and when the pressure is lower than the set value, the pressure detecting means 3 is turned off. In the case of conducting the ignition of the burner 4, when the pressure detecting means is turned on, it is determined that there is no leakage of the gas from the dual cut-off valve, and a predetermined ignition of the burner 4, when the pressure detecting means is turned on, it is determined that there is no leakage of the gas from the dual cut-off valve, and a predetermined ignition is carried out. Further, when the pressure detecting means 3 does not conduct the ignition of the burner, a predetermined operation in the case of detecting the leakage of the gas from the valve.
