摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas alarm and a gas alarming method which enable accurate judgment of the trouble of a gas sensor by allowing the detection of the trouble of the gas sensor and further obtaining a stable output. SOLUTION: The gas alarm is provided with a heater 2 and a gas sensor 1 having a sensing part 3 for detecting the concentration of a gas and lets a heater current flow to a heater 2 to heat the sensing part 3 and emits an alarm indicating the abnormality of the concentration thereof when the concentration of the gas detected by the sensing part 3 exceeds an alarming point. A current detection resistance Rd is connected in series to the heater 2, a sensor abnormality judging circuit 18 inputs an end-to-end voltage of the current detection resistance Rd to calculate the heater current based on the end-to-end voltage and the current detection resistance Rd and judges the abnormality of the gas sensor 1 based on changes in the heater current thus calculated. A display circuit 25 emits an alarm indicating the abnormality of the gas sensor 1 when the gas sensor 1 is determined to be abnormal.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas alarm unit and a gas alarming method capable of beforehand detecting/reporting deterioration of a gas sensor in sensitivity in the event that the gas sensor is driven by a battery with limited capacity. SOLUTION: In this gas alarm unit, the gas sensor 1 is on-off driven with a specified period by a pulse drive signal generated by a sensor drive circuit 13 receiving a power supply voltage of the battery 5, the concentration of carbon monoxide is detected during off-drive periods of the sensor 1, and an alarm is given to indicate an abnormal concentration of carbon monoxide when a detected concentration of carbon monoxide exceeds an alarm point. A sensor detection circuit 9 detects the value of sensor resistance of a sensor element 3 during an on-drive period in each of the periods. A sensor abnormality judging circuit 16 judges whether the sensor 1 is abnormal based on variations in a plurality of detected values of sensor resistance. An LED 21 gives an alarm indicating the abnormality of the sensor 1 when the sensor 1 is judged to be abnormal.

SOLUTION: A rotational speed control means is constituted of an electromagnetic coil 1ab and a magnetized vane 19a set at an inner wall face of a flowmeter main body 11. A flow velocity sensor 18 as a flow rate change detection means is set at the inner wall face of the main body 11. A flow velocity of a gas 20 at a flow path 17 is measured by the flow velocity sensor 18. When a flow rate is detected to decrease, stop or increase, a current corresponding to a change of the flow velocity is fed to the pair of electromagnetic coils 19b with a predetermined timing. At this time, a brake force or rotation-assisting force is applied to an impeller 14 because of an electromagnetic force generated between the conductive electromagnetic coil 19b and magnetized vane 19a to achieve a rotational speed corresponding to the flow rate.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a fire by connecting a composite type alarm to sensor lines similarly to a normal fire sensor. SOLUTION: This equipment monitors the fire by connecting the composite type alarm 6 to the sensor lines 2a, 2b drawn into a dwelling unit from a disaster prevention information panel together with the fire sensor. The composite type alarm 6 has a gas leakage alarm circuit part 6A operating by power supply from a commercial AC power source and giving a gas leakage alarm when detecting gas; and a fire sensor circuit part 6B operating by power supply from the sensor lines 2a, 2b and outputting a fire occurrence information signal to the disaster prevention information panel via the sensor lines 2a, 2b and to the gas leakage alarm circuit part 6A to give a fire alarm when detecting the fire. The fire sensor circuit part 6B electrically separates the fire occurrence information signal by a photo coupler 20 and outputs the signal to the gas leakage alarm circuit part 6A.

SOLUTION: A waterproof film is provided at the gas introduction hole of the gas alarm for a bathroom, the printed board of the alarm is coated with waterproof resin, and a gas sensor which heats a gas sensing body provided on an insulated board for 14 ms once every minute is used. During one minute after turning on a battery power source, a heating condition is changed to heating for 60 sec by 14 ms each once a second. After then, it is changed to heating for 14 ms once a minute, the alarm waits for one minute without detecting gas and the alarm is shifted to normal monitoring operation.

It is possible to issue an accurate alarm because of detecting main gas generating in case of an actual fire.

SOLUTION: In a fire preferred embodiment, a fire is detected by detecting a unique humidity change pattern in which the humidity temporarily rises and then, drops in the initial stage of a fire. In a second preferred embodiment, a contact combustion type gas sensor 40 attached at a gas leak alarm is used as a fire detecting element. This contact combustion type gas sensor 40 is driven by being heated by being electrically energized, and a fire is detected by detecting a sensor output change pattern unique to a sensor output of the initial stage of a fire from sensor output time series data obtained from a sensor output of a specific point of time during a rising period till the sensor output after electrically energized is stabled. By this, fire in the initial stage which has been difficult to be detected can be accurately detected.
