摘要： PURPOSE:To easily strengthen the contrast of a first and second luminance signals by switching a switching circuit in a video telephone set by a switching signal having pulse width whose width is wider than an OR output. CONSTITUTION:Three primary color signals from a color decoder 2 are supplied to a luminance matrix circuits 8 and converted to a luminance signal, and its luminance signal is supplied to a switching circuit 9. Also, digital three primary color signals of red, green and blue being color character signals from a character signal generating circuit 5 are supplied to an OR circuit 7, and its OR output is supplied to the switching circuit 9 through a level setting circuit 6. This switching circuit 9 is also switched by a switching signal S. In this level setting circuit 6, a character signal CHS of a luminance signal which becomes a white level when an output of the OR circuit 7 is '1', and becomes a black level when the OR output is '0' is generated, as shown in the figure A, and this character signal CHS is supplied to the switching circuit 9.

CONSTITUTION:Since the judging state of a comparator 6 shows A>=B when an output code A at a pedestal level from an A/D converter 3A is larger than or equal with a set value B, the comparator 6 outputs an L level and the output Q of a flip-flop circuit 7 which samples this H level by a sample pulse, from a flip-flop circuit 7 becomes an L level. This signal is supplied through a low- pass filter 8 to an adder 11 and added with an analog reference voltage. Consequently the reference voltage of a clamp circuit 2 is decreased. Reversely, when the output code at the pedestal level is smaller than digital reference data, the reference voltage of the clamp circuit 2 is boosted and the digital signal at the clamp level the same as the target level can be always obtained.

That is, in the display device 15, the tablet 39 is divided into minute areas of 640 and 480 in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, respectively, and by an (xy) coordinate data detecting circuit 39A, each minute area of the tablet 39 is scanned in a prescribed period. In such a way, position information of the minute area pressed with the stylus can be detected by (xy) coordinate data DXY based on a prescribed origin O on the tablet 39 as reference.
