    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrometer capable of detecting a variation of specific weight always stably, high precisely, and surely even the liquid to be measured on specific weight is moving and the liquid level is varied.
      SOLUTION: This hydrometer is provided with an improved float 3 which is formed with a nonmagnetic material and in which a pair of magnets 4 are separately built in as a magnetic field imparting means. The float 3 is constituted that most of which is sunk in the liquid to be measured on specific weight i.e., in the normal state battery liquid wherein a center of gravity line M2 which is existing on a plane perpendicular to a stem 1 extending vertical direction, is positioned lower than the center line M1 existing on a plane specified by half value (h/2) of height value, further the clearance d is set regarding to the height size of the float 3 in a range of 1/8-1/4. Thereby the float 3 moves smoothly along the stem 1 even the battery is used on a slope.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock sensor which has a proper switching operation property according to the magnitude of an acceleration due to a shock and whose stability and reliability are enhanced in the fundamental operation of an air bag system which can control the expansion of an air bag without any malfunction. SOLUTION: In the shock sensor 13, a pair of reed switches 6a, 6b whose constitutions are mutually identical and which comprise independent signal output systems are arranged in positions in which their contact parts become a closed state so as to correspond to accelerations of different magnitudes, and their sensor sensitivities are different. When a weak acceleration is generated due to the shock, a ring-shaped magnet 7 is moved by overcoming an urging force by a spring 8, it is brought close to only the reed switch 6a, and only the contact part of the reed switch 6a is set to a closed state. When a strong acceleration is generated due to the shock, the ring-shaped magnet 7 is brought close to the reed switches 6a, 6b, and the contact parts of the reed switches 6a, 6b are set to a closed state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact sensor that can fully give magnetic force to make the contact portion of a reed switch into the closed state from a magnet moving with acceleration and that has a structure stabilizing the motion at detection of the acceleration. SOLUTION: Because a front stopper 7 has a collision face to lock the end face of a magnet 4 having the top face of projections 7a, 7b with different heights, repulsive forces in the opposite directions along the rotating direction of a magnet 40 produced direction in terms of the step direction make the magnet 40 rotate, when the magnet 4 is moved to the limit of the moving range of the front stopper 7 side to hit the top face of projections 7a, 7b, and this causes the stagnation of the magnet 4 in the vicinity if the front stopper 7, to enable to delay the time that the magnet 4 is pushed back toward the other side, resulting in elongation of time of giving magnetic force to turn the contact point of the reed switch in the closed ON state.
